Vaccinations
Routine vaccinations are one of the easiest ways to keep yourself healthy. Our pharmacies provide annual flu vaccines, COVID-19 vaccinations, routine child and adult immunizations, catch-up vaccines and travel vaccines.
This vaccine protects against Hepatitis A, an infection in the liver often spread by contaminated food and caused by hepatitis A virus. Adults traveling outside the country, those with chronic liver disease, and men who have sex with men need at least two doses.
This vaccine protects against Hepatitis B, a blood-borne infection of the liver caused by hepatitis B virus. Adults with chronic health conditions and healthcare workers should get three doses of this vaccine.
This vaccine protects against HPV, the major cause of cervical cancer, anal cancer, and genital warts in both women and men. Adults age 9-26 need at least two doses.
This vaccine protects against influenza, a contagious viral infection of the nose, throat, and lungs. Everyone 6 months and older should receive a yearly flu vaccine.
This vaccine protects against the respiratory disease measles, the infectious disease mumps, and the viral disease rubella. Adults born in 1957 or later need at least one dose.
There are two types of meningococcal vaccines that protect against meningococcal disease, a leading cause of bacterial meningitis infections around the brain and spinal cord. All 11-12 year olds should get a meningococcal conjugate vaccine and a booster dose at 16 years old. People age 16-23 years also may get a serogroup B meningococcal vaccine.
These vaccines protect against pneumococcal disease, caused by bacteria leading to ear and sinus infections as well as more serious lung and blood infections. If you smoke, have heart disease, asthma, chronic lung disease, or are over 65 years old, you need at least one dose.
This vaccine protects against polio, a disease that can infect a person’s spinal cord and cause paralysis. Children are recommended to get one vaccine dose at 2 months old, 4 months old, 6 through 18 months old, and 4 through 6 years old.
These vaccines protect against tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis which are contagious bacterial diseases. Adults need one dose of Tdap, then a Td or Tdap booster every 10 years.
Physical & Wellness Screenings
Our pharmacies offer a number of wellness screenings to help detect and prevent certain diseases.
When you come in for a biometric screening, your provider will measure your height, weight and blood pressure. They will also test your blood glucose, and lipids (cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL, LDL) using a finger prick to obtain a blood sample. Before leaving you will have your results along with risk reduction counseling to help you achieve your optimum health. **Biometric Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.
Blood glucose measurement detects the amount of glucose (sugar) in the bloodstream. High or low blood sugars could indicate a metabolic condition, such as diabetes.
Hemoglobin A1C measures your average blood glucose (sugar) over the past 90 days. An elevated hemoglobin A1C could indicate the presence of diabetes. **Hemoglobin A1C Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.
Cholesterol screening measures the amount of cholesterol, triglycerides, high density lipoprotein (HDL) and low density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol levels in the blood. Cholesterol screenings can detect conditions such as high cholesterol or high triglycerides.

I am absolutely crushed that they don’t accept my new insurance because this is the best pharmacy I’ve ever used. They are fast, efficient, communicative, and courteous. There was never a line longer than one person. One of the pharmacists knew my name and would grab my medication off the rack before I had even reached the counter! And someone always answered the phone when I called. It’s going to be tough to find something in the area that lives up to the expectations they set for me.

I arrived at 12:59 p.m. for a quick pickup of a refill. The security fence was partially closed, but still open at the pickup counter. Staff were talking amongst themselves and didn't immediately acknowledge my presence. When they did, it was 1:00 p.m. and I was refused service, since they were closed for lunch. The pharmacy tech could have taken another minute or two to give me my refill.

Pharmacist was extremely unprofessional, didn't seem to want to hear anything I had to say, rather tell me what I had told him which was totally inaccurate and than hung up on me.
This was 1/24/26 with major winter storm brewing, I was only trying to get the prescribed Rx that I received word that it was received and being filled but a day later still wasn't ready with no explanation???
I would suggest Kroger employ pharmacists that understand they are a Service Provider, this guy has no clue!
I won't be back to Kroger for my future pharmaceutical needs nor any further grocery shopping or fuel, you don't deserve my business!!!

I was in Houston on business and realized that I had forgot my prescription mediation back in Dallas. My doctor said they would send a prescription for just a couple of days, but ended up sending a prescription for a full month. Needless to say, that wasn't covered by insurance. I called the pharmacy and Nick helped me. I was very patient and took his time to do everything that he could to help me. Thank you, Nick!

The only redeeming factor about this pharmacy is an employee named Christy. She holds the store up. Otherwise, will avoid at all cost.
