The scoliosis that I suffer from makes it necessary for me to use a walker to maintain my balance. It is necessary that the caretakers help get the mail, put the trashcan out, put the groceries away, and bring supplies upstairs. They also supervised my bath time. I appreciate everything they do.

I am his caregiver, and the VA provides Home Instead caregivers for three hours a day. Recently, I became very ill for two days and was unable to care for him. I called Home Instead and explained our situation to Adrian, the scheduler. She understood the urgency and sent Brenda within an hour. Brenda stepped in immediately, took care of my husband, cleaned up, and helped me during a very difficult time. Her kindness and professionalism made all the difference. I am very grateful to Adrian and Brenda, and to Home Instead for being there when we needed help the most. They have come through for us more than once.
