  Unfortunately, my experience here was disappointing from start to finish. The doctor was about 10 minutes late, and the front office staff came across as rude, disorganized, and unhelpful. I made it clear during my appointment that I had already selected my frames elsewhere and would not be purchasing glasses from their office. When I got home and attempted to order my prescription glasses, I realized my pupillary distance (PD) was not included with my prescription. My previous optometrist always provided this measurement at no additional charge. When I called the next morning, I was told I would have to come back to the office to have my PD measured and pay an additional $25. Since they knew I was ordering my frames elsewhere, why wasn’t I told before leaving that I would need a PD measurement to complete my order—or that they charged separately for it? That would have saved me an unnecessary trip back to the office. To make matters worse, I was also trying a new brand of contacts, and they forgot to give me my trial lenses before I left. I had to return to the office for those as well. When I arrived, the staff member gave me only two pairs and said they had run out. In my previous experiences, contact lens trial packs have typically contained several pairs, so the entire situation felt poorly handled. I’m not sure whether I was treated this way because I chose not to purchase my glasses or contacts through their office, but the lack of communication, repeated inconvenience, and overall customer service were unacceptable. A patient shouldn’t receive a different level of service based on whether they purchase eyewear directly from the office. I won’t be returning. I’ll be going back to my previous optometrist. She’s worth the drive.

  Dr. Diab provided me with thorough information. He took the time out to explain everything to me and allow me to ask questions. I left out the exam room and I understood what needed to be done and was able to accomplish that with the staff. and I will pick up my glasses when they both come in. I will definitely be back again next year for my yearly exam.
