I had a dentist appointment rescheduled for June 29, 2026, at 12:00 PM. I also had to reschedule because my cleaning felt rushed and the information regarding my treatment and dental concerns was not fully explained to me. During the visit, we tried explaining to the dentist, whose name starts with the letter “H,” that we had received misinformation from one of her assistants regarding the situation. Unfortunately, her response was, “I don’t care,” before continuing to discuss the issue with the tooth. At no point during the conversation was there an apology or acknowledgment of the confusion caused by the misinformation we had been given. I believe it would be beneficial for staff and providers to communicate with patients in a more respectful and professional manner. Patients should feel heard, informed, and treated with courtesy and professionalism, especially when trying to clarify information they were previously provided.

I had some good things to say but I’ll wait. Today this place pissed me off and screwed up my entire day waiting for my damn appointment only to have them call me and cancel. Shitty customer service!

Absolutely unprofessional office and dental service. My daughter had a dental emergency with a fractured molar over a weekend and we had to take her to an urgent dental care and pay out of pocket. They removed a piece of embedded molar out of her gum and told us to go to her dentist as soon as possible to get the fractured molar removed as the permanent one was there and would be negatively affected if left exposed like that. We went the immediate Monday after that, as Bear Creek Dentistry states on their website that they take emergency appointments, so we arrived as soon as they opened. The lady in the front said that they put my daughter in for 11:30 am so we waited for 2+ hours. They took xrays, then the dentist saw her and said she would be right back and remove the molar. Less than 5 mins later the dental assistant came in and said we had to leave as the dentist didn't have time to remove the molar on that day anymore. It was really upsetting as she had just said she would be right back and remove it. No explanation besides and insisting "please walk to the front and they will talk to you". I was brushed off, to then be told, that anyway, they needed pre-approval to remove the molar. Which I am certain if treated as an emergency (as it is), it does not need any pre-approval, you just submit with the claim evidence that there is a fracture and risk of damage to the permanent molar. Instead the removal was denied by insurance as they submit it the claim without any notes about the problem, not even stating that she had the outer molar fractured. I tried to appeal on my own and received a second denial because the xrays don't show the fracture. This about a week ago. Yesterday Bear Creek's office calls me stating the removal was finally approved and they gave me an appointment for Monday. Today they call me again to say that they double checked and that the removal wasn't actually approved so that the appointment was cancelled. Absolutely unbelievable, they just play not only once with our time and hope, but call us to do it all over again. Unacceptable to confuse paper work and claims and give us false information putting us in this position all over again.

Frequently Asked Questions About Bear Creek Dentistry & Orthodontics

What happens at a dental cleaning?

During a dental cleaning, a hygienist carefully removes plaque buildup from your teeth to prevent issues like gum disease and tooth decay. The appointment includes a screening for these concerns, allowing for early detection and less invasive treatment. It's also an opportunity to discuss your oral care routine and receive recommendations for products that could enhance your at-home dental care. If you have concerns about your teeth or wish to improve your smile, your hygienist can provide information on relevant dental procedures. We encourage you to contact Bear Creek Dentistry & Orthodontics to schedule your next dental appointment.

Who is a good candidate for dentures?

Dentures are typically recommended for individuals missing one or multiple teeth. Partial dentures are suitable for those with remaining natural teeth, helping to prevent shifting of existing teeth. Complete dentures are used when all teeth in the upper or lower jaw need replacement. At Bear Creek Dentistry & Orthodontics, we create full dentures when no natural teeth remain.
