Very Disappointed With My Experience — Please Do Your Research Before Spending Your Money
I am sharing my experience because I believe prospective patients deserve to have realistic expectations and understand what they may encounter throughout the process.
I initially sought treatment for a BBL, but I was told that I did not have enough fat to proceed. Dr. Nguyen recommended what he described as a “hip flip” instead. Unfortunately, on the day of surgery, it appeared that our previous discussions had not been fully reviewed, and I was given what felt like a completely new evaluation only minutes before the procedure. Despite this, I trusted his professional judgment and proceeded.
I was told that, because I did not have a significant amount of fat, my abdominal area would look great after the procedure. I trusted the process, followed the recommended appointments and aftercare, and waited for my final results.
Unfortunately, the outcome was not what we had discussed. Six months later, I still have several noticeable areas of uneven fat distribution and “fat pockets” in my abdominal area that were not adequately addressed.
When I brought my concerns to Dr. Nguyen, he acknowledged the issue and discussed performing a revision to correct it. I was told that the office would contact me to schedule the revision.
Approximately 2½ weeks later, Christina, the new manager, left me a voicemail. When I returned her call, I was informed that I would need to pay an additional $1,800, despite already having paid approximately $13,000 in full for my procedure. I explained my concerns, and Christina told me she would speak with her “higher-ups” about potentially waiving the additional fee and would get back to me so the revision could be scheduled.
It has now been approximately four weeks, and I have received no follow-up whatsoever. During that time, I have called and left messages every week, with, Jessica, Irma, Rachel and Mayra yet my calls have not been returned.
At this point, I am extremely disappointed—not only with the results, but also with the lack of communication, accountability, and professionalism I have experienced afterward. Paying $13,000 for a procedure is a significant financial commitment, and I expected much better communication and patient care when concerns arose.
I strongly encourage anyone considering this practice to do extensive research, ask detailed questions, get everything discussed in writing.
My experience has left me feeling that the professionalism and patient care I expected were not provided.

Dr. Khan did such a great job. I’m only one week out, and still a little swollen, but healing has been super easy and the results so far are fantastic!

Amazing experience, not only was the doctor amazing throughout the whole process but the process itself is amazing. I have a whole new confidence in me after this procedure. The facility is well managed and very professionally staffed. The doctor made sure to answer all of my questions and made sure to let me know that any concern I had could be answered by him at any time. I really recommend this location, I’m from Dallas but I loved that I decided to come down to Houston and do it with them.
Frequently Asked Questions About AirSculpt - Houston
What is AirSculpt®?
AirSculpt® is a patented, minimally invasive fat removal procedure that removes fat cell by cell through a small entry point—without scalpels or stitches. The treatment also tightens skin, making it a popular choice for patients seeking effective body contouring in Houston.
Is AirSculpt® invasive?
AirSculpt® is minimally invasive. Patients stay awake during the procedure, and no general anesthesia is required. Most people return to regular activities within 24 to 48 hours, making it ideal for anyone seeking safe body sculpting in Houston.
Am I a good candidate for AirSculpt®?
Most adults over 18 with areas of stubborn fat are good candidates. Whether you want to slim your waist or add curves with a Brazilian butt lift in Houston, AirSculpt® offers a customizable and natural-looking solution.
How is AirSculpt® different from traditional liposuction?
AirSculpt® doesn’t require general anesthesia and causes less trauma to the body compared to traditional liposuction. It’s a precise alternative for patients considering body sculpting in Houston who want smoother results and faster recovery.
How many AirSculpt® treatments are needed per area?
Usually only one. Fat is permanently removed during a single session. Many Houston body contouring patients treat multiple areas in one visit to streamline their transformation.
How long is the downtime or recovery?
Most patients resume normal routines in 1–2 days. A compression garment is worn for about two weeks to reduce swelling and support healing.
How much does AirSculpt® cost?
Cost depends on the treatment area(s) and the amount of fat removed. Whether you’re interested in a full Brazilian butt lift in Houston or want to contour specific zones, pricing is provided during a personalized consultation.
Can I use someone else’s fat for a fat transfer?
No. Only your own fat can be used for AirSculpt® fat transfer procedures. This is especially important for BBL patients in Houston, as your natural fat is used to enhance your figure.
How long do I wear a compression garment after fat transfer?
Patients wear it continuously for the first 48 hours, then daily for about two weeks. This helps with swelling and ensures optimal shaping after a Brazilian butt lift or body contouring in Houston.
What’s included in Full Abdominal AirSculpt®?
This typically includes the upper and lower abdomen, waist, and love handles.
Can I treat just one area?
Yes. You can target a single zone—like the arms, thighs, or chin—or combine areas based on your specific goals for body sculpting in Houston.
Can I lose my double chin completely?
Many patients see full or significant reduction of their double chin. AirSculpt® offers a less invasive alternative to chin liposuction in Houston, helping to contour and define the jawline.
How bad is bruising after a chin procedure?
Bruising is usually mild to moderate and fades within 1–2 weeks. You’ll receive detailed aftercare instructions to help ensure a smooth recovery.
How long does a chin procedure take?
Chin AirSculpt® typically takes 20–40 minutes. It’s a quick and effective option for facial contouring in Houston with minimal interruption to your day.
Do you treat areas above the chin (cheeks, eyelids, etc.)?
AirSculpt® fat removal focuses only on the submental (under-chin) area. AirSculpt Lift, our facial fat transfer treatment, can rejuvenate these areas except the eyelids.
What does Chin AirSculpt® feel like?
Patients describe it as a gentle vibration, similar to an electric toothbrush. It’s well-tolerated, even without general anesthesia.
Can older adults get AirSculpt®?
Yes. There’s no upper age limit. Many older Houston body sculpting patients choose AirSculpt® to address areas like the neck, arms, and midsection without traditional surgery.
How long should I wait to get AirSculpt® after childbirth?
Patients should wait at least 3 months after vaginal delivery and 6 months after a C-section—especially if the procedure includes fat transfer or abdominal sculpting as part of a postpartum BBL or body contouring in Houston.
When should I stop breastfeeding before my procedure?
You can breastfeed up to the day of your procedure, but you must wait afterward until your provider clears it.
What part of the arms are treated with AirSculpt®?
AirSculpt® treats the full upper arm—from the elbow to the armpit—including underarm and bra roll fat. It’s a common request for body contouring in Houston for more toned arms.
Is there enough fat in the arms for a transfer?
The arms may have enough fat for small transfers (e.g., hand rejuvenation), but they typically don’t provide enough volume for a full Brazilian butt lift.
How much fat can be removed from the arms?
That depends on your body type. During your consultation, your provider will evaluate how much fat can be safely removed to achieve your Houston body contouring goals.
Does AirSculpt® tighten skin?
Yes, the technique tightens skin as fat is removed. For more significant skin laxity, AirTite, a skin tightening treatment, may be recommended in combination with your procedure.
How soon will I see results?
Results are noticeable immediately and continue improving for 3 to 6 months—perfect for Houston body contouring patients preparing for summer, events, or life changes.
Can AirSculpt® fix previous liposuction procedures?
Yes. AirSculpt® can correct areas with irregular fat removal or asymmetry from prior liposuction. Many Houston body sculpting patients seek out corrective procedures to achieve smoother, more refined results.
