Enter Cliovana, a simple, non-invasive way to increase arousal levels, and orgasm frequency and intensity. There are no lasers, scalpels, or needles, which means no side effects and no down time. Cliovana is soundwave treatment that increases clitoral responsiveness leading to: Increased Arousal and Lubrication Increased Orgasm Intensity and Frequency Greater Overall Sexual Satisfaction EVERYTHING YOU WANT. It’s time to close the gap, and Cliovana can help. WHO IS THIS FOR? EVERY WOMAN, THAT’S WHO. There are many reason why a woman might experience lessened feelings of arousal and sexual response. The great news is that Cliovana can help improve women’s sexual health and help them have stronger, more frequent orgasms.

DiVa – Vaginal Rejuvenation: Is It Right For You? If you’re experiencing vaginal problems from childbirth or menopause, you can likely benefit from diVa Vaginal Rejuvenation. DiVa is a non-surgical therapy that restores healthy, youthful vaginal tissue for improved comfort and function. At Texas Gynecology in Frisco, Texas, Dr. George Branning offers in-office diVa Treatment for patients in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex and surrounding areas. Why Dr. Branning Recommends DiVa Treatments For Many Of His Patients. For the, literally, thousands of you who cross your legs, squeeze, Kegal or flex when you cough or sneeze, or you’ll leak. For those of you who love a good laugh, but hope that the joke isn’t ‘too funny’ because accidents aren’t funny at all. For those of you who look at a trampoline only nostalgically and say ‘no way, not today’. For those of you who suffer from painful dryness and lost intimacy and a longing for a more youthful, vital and sensual self…there’s diVa Vaginal Laser Therapy. This, my friends, can be a life changer. So why this laser? Why now? I have heard your complaints and your resigning to the ‘new normal’. I’ve heard you say, “I’m just getting older’. I’ve heard you accept this fate. You don’t want surgery…you don’t want a mesh sling…and I don’t blame you. There have been vaginal rejuvenation therapies before. I watched the big hype about Mona Lisa Touch and its promises. And I knew this was not the right therapy. I knew this was not the right laser, not the right design. And I waited. Waited for the right therapy. I waited for diVa from Sciton. Finally, there is a true vaginal rejuvenation therapy designed by a gynecologist, for women. diVa is designed from the ground up by Sciton, the leading medical laser company. It is virtually painless with minimal down time. You can leave my office and go right to work, or to the tennis court. Rapid improvement to control, lubrication, laxity, and sensation. A ‘reboot” to your youthful and sensual self. Since diVa is automated you get a perfect and predictable treatment. And because of that, instead of 30-40 minutes like the first generation lasers, diVa takes 3-5. And diVa gives real, reproducible and lasting results. What Is DiVa Vaginal Rejuvenation? DiVa is a revolutionary procedure, designed by a gynecologist, for women, that is performed using a specific tandem of lasers to replace and improve vaginal tissue quality. Both childbirth and menopause significantly change the anatomy and lower the quality and function of the vaginal tissue and surrounding pelvic structures. Because it fundamentally revitalizes the vaginal tissue, it returns the youthful feel and function that you thought were gone forever. Leaking, vaginal dryness, and painful and unsatisfying sex could be a thing of the past with diVa Vaginal Therapy. Who Benefits From DiVa? Is coughing, sneezing or laughing causing you to cross your legs, Kegel or squeeze so that you don’t leak? Are you looking nostalgically at the trampoline? Are you measuring the distance from the barre to the bathroom at the new studio, or just not signing up to begin with? Has sex has lost its “spark”, or become a chore due to pain from vaginal dryness? Are you a breast cancer survivor and think there’s no hope for your vaginal issues? Then you need to see how diVa Vaginal Therapy can literally change your life. Did You Know That DiVa Has A 98% “Worth It” Rating From RealSelf? “I feel confident and sexy — and my husband, he loves it! He can’t even believe that a treatment could do something like this. It was a very worthwhile investment and I would certainly do it again. I was impressed that the procedure is quick with little to no discomfort, and no downtime.” – Jami How Does DiVa Work? Designed by a gynecologist and Sciton Women’s Health, diVa uses two perfectly tuned lasers firing with exact timing, and with the accuracy only possible with High Precision Automation to deliver the energy at the right depth, wavelength and distribution to result in the correct biological response necessary for creation of elastic collagen, youthful lubrication and a healthy decrease in laxity. The sum of these changes is the rejuvenation of vaginal function, including vastly reduced leaking and improved intimacy. How Long Does DiVa Take? Each diVa procedure takes 3-5 minutes. It is virtually painless and you can return to work or the gym that day. Only 3 treatments at 4-week intervals will give you the results and the longevity that you desire. It’s possible that you might need future treatments to maintain your results. If you add the O-Shot®️, that will add another 5 minutes to the procedure. After the diVa treatment, you will have spotting and discharge for 2-3 days. Nothing a thin pad can’t handle. What Will I Experience During The DiVa Procedure? Some patients experience pressure or “tapping”.

My friends who live in the world of marketing are always looking for that brand name that perfectly captures what their product is all about. It may be an onomatopoeia, or describe its result in one, succinct and perfect word. Well, I think Dr. Runels, the developer of the O-Shot, is a marketing genius. PRP Is The Magic Sauce Of Biology. PRP, or platelet rich plasma, is created when blood from the patient is spun on an FDA approved centrifuge and allowed to layer out. At the bottom are all of the red blood cells, smashed into a nice crimson clot. Above is a straw colored layer called the plasma, the liquid portion of our blood. Suspended within this layer is an amazing blood cell called the platelet. As a major component of the cellular arm of the blood clotting cascade, platelets are usually the first on the scene of injury to the body to set up shop and begin the incredible process of healing. When concentrated, as in the PRP, and injected into areas of injury, or a surgical site, or tissue change as with aging, the body is sent a signal to bring all guns to bear and repair this area…pronto. The result is an increase in growth factors, collagen and stem cells that rejuvenates, heals, and revitalizes the injected area. PRP has been used for years in orthopedic and spine surgery, where it speeds up bone union times, and more recently in plastic surgery and hair loss treatment. Charles Runels, M.D., was very familiar with PRP and its amazing properties and applications. In his practice, Dr. Runels had already invented the Vampire Face-Lift using PRP, with amazing results. It was then that his girlfriend said, “I want you to inject PRP in my vagina.” Not an every day request, but you see, she was suffering from what so many women suffer…she was leaking urine, especially with exercise. So after contemplating the pros and cons, and reflecting on the many successes he had had with PRP injections, he agreed. After all, you can’t have an allergic reaction to your own blood, as some people can to the “fillers”, that were used previously. So he injected a bolus of her own PRP, trans-vaginally, under her urethra in order to give it support. And then they waited for results. In time, her incontinence improved tremendously. But another curious effect became very apparent…patient #1 began having mind blowing orgasms. When he thought about it, it made sense. After all, he injected the PRP in the vagina, just below the urethra, which is in the same zip code as the Grafenberg Spot; this spot is also known as the G-Spot. The results were reproducible in patient #2 and beyond. He also added an injection in the clitoris to the repertoire. Now this sounds absolutely horrible. It’s actually quite painless through the miracle of topical numbing cream. Now the entire female orgasmic system was injected and enhanced by his new procedure. Only one thing left for him to do…name it! This is where the marketing genius of Dr. Runels comes in. Keep it simple and tell me what it does!!! So he called it the “O-Shot”. Put The Oh! Back In Your Love Life With The O-Shot As one of the few physicians who has been trained in the O-Shot procedure, I can attest to the dramatic results. They have been incredible. I will use it alone, when vaginal function is adequate; or I use it in conjunction with diVa when the vagina needs a functional boost. The two procedures in combination provide a synergy of sexual and functional enhancement that is unparalleled. Especially when any hormonal deficits are balanced with bio-identical hormone replacement. More and more patients are asking about it, which is a great thing. It has been observed that only 14% of patients with symptoms of sexual of orgasmic dysfunction actually talk to their gynecologists about it. The usual comment being, “she (or he) didn’t seem receptive about the subject.” It can be a difficult topic to discuss, but since it is often sited as the number one or two issue in marital counseling, it’s a topic that should come up. It is of utmost importance to my practice to provide a safe place for patients to discuss all subjects, and we are continuously trying to better ourselves to that end. And if we’re talking about sexuality, we’re talking about couples, and that means I need to treat partners for their hormone imbalances, as well. It doesn’t make sense to provide my patients with super powers if they come home to a couch potato. Sexuality improvement is couple’s improvement. Whenever I’m asked about the benefits of the O-Shot, and ultimately the question asked by patients, and at the water cooler is, “does it really work?”, I recall the response of one of my patients when asked, specifically: “Describe in one word the effects of the O-Shot.” After a few seconds of blissful contemplation, she smiled and replied, “Breathtaking

Abnormal Pap Specialist A Pap smear is an important test for any woman. An Abnormal Pap is not a cause for panic as long as an experienced gynecology provider, like Dr. George B. Branning, is there. Texas Gynecology in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, Frisco, Texas is here to help. Abnormal Pap Q & A What Is A Pap Smear? A Pap smear is a test that can detect precancerous and cancerous cells within the cervix, the neck of the uterus. How Does The Doctor Do A Pap Smear? Pap smears are often performed as part of a well-woman exam. The Pap smear itself will take no more than a couple of minutes. As the patient comfortably lays with her legs positioned in the stirrups (the same position used during a standard pelvic exam) the doctor will use a speculum to dilate the cervix. Then, the doctor does a scraping of the cervix to gather a cell sample. The cell sample will then be analyzed to look for precancerous or cancerous cells. What Does An Abnormal Pap Smear Mean? Abnormal Pap smears are actually not uncommon, so patients should try not to panic about an abnormal test result. An abnormal Pap smear does not equal cancer and, in fact, most people who get abnormal Pap test results do not have cancer. The abnormal Pap smear means that there are cellular changes that need to be watched closely or investigated further. What Causes Abnormal Pap Smears? In the majority of cases, the cellular changes occur because of human papillomavirus (HPV). These cellular changes often resolve on their own. However, some kinds of HPV are connected with cervical cancer, so the doctor will typically want to perform a biopsy. In some cases, the cellular changes happen because of an infection, especially bacterial or yeast infections. Changes that happen during menopause may also result in abnormal pap smears. How Are Abnormal Pap Smear Results Addressed? The doctor will perform a colposcopy and possible soft biopsies. If the cause of the test results is an infection, it can be treated using antibiotics in many cases. If the results are harmless cell changes, they may be allowed to resolve on their own. The doctor will usually order another Pap smear in 6 months to a year.

Hormone Balance (BioTE) Specialist Hormone Replacement is a way for women in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, Frisco, Texas area to feel normal again after hormone depletion. Dr. George B. Branning and the team at Texas Gynecology offer an all natural therapy with bioTE. Hormone Balance (BioTE) Q & A When Do Hormone Levels Decrease? Hormone levels decrease naturally over time, with a marked decrease in estrogen around the time of menopause. As a person ages, the natural hormones decline until the body has just a small percentage of the same hormones that the body made during the younger years. This can have an impact on the whole body, causing gradual deterioration of the body’s organs. Over time, the body will not function as well as it could due to lack of hormones. Testosterone, however, begins to fall after our twenties. What Are The Symptoms Of Hormone Imbalance? There are a number of unpleasant symptoms connected with hormone imbalance, including depression, mood swings, exhaustion, insomnia, decreased libido, memory loss, a feeling of “mental fog,” weight gain, hot flashes, night sweats, irritability, and many others. Why Is BioTE Therapy Different? bioTE is different than other types of hormone therapy because it uses natural hormone replacements derived from plants. Other hormone replacements are synthetic, which means that the body may not be able to process them comfortably or easily. With bioTE hormones, the body will be able to accept the hormones because they so closely replicate the body’s own natural hormones without using synthetics. How Does BioTE Work? The bioTE hormone replacements are fashioned into tiny pellets, which are inserted into the body in a discreet location. It takes just a few minutes to complete the pellet insertion, and most people have no pain or only mild discomfort. The pellets will deliver steady doses of the all natural hormones into the body. This process generally needs to be repeated every 4-6 months in women. Many women notice an improvement in the way that they feel almost immediately, and they may also notice that they look more youthful overall thanks to the positive impact the natural hormones can have on the skin.

Menopause Specialist Menopause can be a difficult time for any woman, but there are solutions that can make it easier. Dr. George B. Branning and the team at Texas Gynecology in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, Frisco, Texas area are ready to guide women through Menopause with understanding and compassion. Menopause Q & A What Is Menopause? Menopause is the body’s transition when a woman’s fertile years come to a close. In addition to greatly reduced chances of becoming pregnant, a menopausal woman will also have reduced estrogen, less effective functioning of the ovaries, and reduced quantities of other hormones in the body. When Does A Woman Officially Enter Menopause? A woman does not officially enter menopause until she has not had a period for 12 consecutive months. This figure does not consider other conditions that can cause skipped periods. There is no specific age for menopause. It can start anywhere between 45 and 55 for most women, but it can also happen earlier or later in life. What Effects Does Menopause Have? Each woman’s experience may be different. Most people notice irregular periods at the beginning of menopause, and this is followed by a number of other effects. Hot flashes, mood swings, vaginal dryness, night sweats, reduced sex drive, trouble with sleeping peacefully, and memory problems are all common. How Can Menopause Symptoms Be Managed? One of the most effective ways to manage menopause symptoms today is hormone replacement therapy. At Texas Gynecology, the preferred treatment is hormone replacement using bioTE. BioTE is a completely natural plant-based hormone replacement method. The bioTE pellets are inserted into the body, where they will gradually release over the next several months. This allows for a consistent level of hormones that will help a woman feel healthy and normal again even as she moves through menopause. The bioTE treatment is generally repeated around every 3 to 4 months during the treatment period. Other hormone replacement methods, including shots, patches, and oral medications, are also available if needed. The hormone replacement regimen will be individually designed for each woman as she goes through menopause. This allows for the most comfortable transition possible.

NovaSure Specialist NovaSure is the standard of care for endometrial ablation in gynecology, today. Any woman who has completed her child-bearing, who has heavy periods is a candidate for this simple procedure, and relief. At Texas Gynecology, we perform this procedure under IV Sedation, and the patients love it. Dr. George B. Branning at Texas Gynecology, located in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, Frisco, Texas area, offers this treatment in his office. NovaSure Q & A What Is NovaSure? NovaSure is the standard of care for endometrial ablation in the world, today. The NovaSure device uses RF (radio frequency) energy to destroy the lining of the uterus, thus removing the layer causing the abnormal, heavy bleeding. The NovaSure device is a slim wand introduced into the uterus without incisions. Dr. Branning and NovaSure offer a minimally invasive ablation method to patients. If you are a candidate, it can be an alternative to hysterectomy or long-term drug therapy. Who Can Get NovaSure? NovaSure is used in women who have finished child bearing, who suffer from heavy periods on a regular basis. Abnormal, heavy bleeding can have markedly negative effects on a woman’s life. Missing work, family events, and social events because of heavy periods takes its toll. If the patient is a candidate she must first have a few, simple diagnostic tests to make sure that the heavy bleeding is not caused by malignancy or other causes. All NovaSure candidates must have a normal pap smear and a normal biopsy before having the procedure. What Are The Benefits Of Endometrial Ablation With NovaSure? NovaSure is a highly effective type of endometrial ablation. The goal of NovaSure is improved bleeding, however forty percent of patients achieve amenorrhea (total cessation of monthly periods) after NovaSure. The patients can enjoy dramatic reduction in bleeding each month. Most have a greatly improved quality of life thanks to NovaSure. Without the monthly heavy periods, many women are better able to enjoy time with friends and family, and they can finally engage in physical activity that they have been missing. NovaSure is a relatively quick procedure, taking approximately 2-5 minutes for the actual treatment. Most can be performed in our office under IV Sedation. There is no endometrial pretreatment needed. The NovaSure procedure allows for closely controlled and completely safe destruction of the uterine lining.

Birth Control Specialist Birth Control is an important consideration for most women today. Dr. George B. Branning and his team at Texas Gynecology in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, Frisco, Texas area are ready to help with Contraceptives Management now. Birth Control Q & A What Is A Contraceptive Management Plan? A contraceptive management plan is something that the patient and the OB-GYN will create and implement as a team. Each woman is unique and has individual birth control needs and concerns. The doctor and patient will discuss all the options for contraception and then make a decision based on both the current and future plans of the patient. How Well Does The Intra-Uterine Device Work? The IUD is one of the most effective kinds of birth control possible today. IUDs are more than 99 percent effective. Less than 1 out of every 100 women who use an IUD for birth control will get pregnant. What Are The Types Of IUD? There are two basic types of IUD available today. The hormone-based IUD (Skyla or Mirena) can be used for 3 or 5 years respectively for birth control. The Copper T IUD (Paragard) can prevent pregnancy for up to 10 years. Both types of IUD can have their individual benefits. When Can A Woman Try To Conceive After An IUD Is Removed? A woman can begin trying to conceive immediately after an IUD is removed if desired. Other birth control methods, such as oral contraceptives, generally require a waiting period before a woman can try to conceive. What Are The Other Options For Birth Control? There are many other birth control options available, although the IUD is generally considered to be the most effective option today. Oral contraceptives can be as effective as the IUD, however, they often are not simply because of human error. The only way to get peak effectiveness from oral contraceptives is to take them precisely as directed, never missing a dose, and never taking a dose late. Every woman has her own specific needs when it comes to contraception and family planning, so it is important to have an OB-GYN who will support the patient fully.

Da Vinci Surgery Specialist The da Vinci Robotic Surgery system is the most advanced and least invasive type of surgery used in gynecology surgery today. Dr. George B. Branning at Texas Gynecology is an an experienced surgeon who offer numerous procedures with this system for patients in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, Frisco, Texas area. Da Vinci Surgery Q & A Who Is A Good Candidate For Da Vinci Robotic Surgery? The ideal candidate for da Vinci robotic surgery is a healthy person who has had a minimal number of abdominal surgeries in the past. Most people who are in good health are good candidates for da Vinci robotic surgery. People who have major cardiovascular or pulmonary disease may need to get cardiac clearance prior to having the surgery. What Incisions Are Made In Da Vinci Surgery? There are minimal incisions with da Vinci surgery. The entire procedure is done through 3 to 4 tiny punctures. Each incision is the diameter of a dime or less. This means that there won’t be the same type of scars that are associated with open surgery. What Is The Recovery From Da Vinci Surgery Like? Recovery is dramatically easier than it is with other types of surgery. With minimally invasive da Vinci surgery, the stay in the hospital is a single night at most. Many people can even return home the same day of the surgery, depending on the specific procedure and patient. People have much less pain after da Vinci robotic surgery, and they heal much more quickly since there is less blood loss. Generally, patients can return to work and activities within two weeks instead of the usual six weeks for a hysterectomy. Ultimately, this makes for a faster return to work and life in general. How Does Da Vinci Robotic Surgery Work? During a conventional laparoscopic surgery, the surgeon must constantly glance away from the surgical instruments to see the video monitor that displays the surgical site. With da Vinci robotic surgery, the surgeon can keep their eyes on the surgical site the entire time because they are controlling the instruments with robotic arms. This allows for the highest levels of precision and alleviates the chances of hand tremors. The surgeon is able to perform even complex and lengthy surgeries with the help of the da Vinci robotic arms.

Gynecology Specialist Gynecology exams, like well-woman exams, are important for any woman’s general health. Texas Gynecology in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, Frisco, Texas area has the experience of Dr. George B. Branning who can handle any gynecological concern effectively. Gynecology FAQs How Often Should Well Woman Visits Be Scheduled? In most cases, doctors recommend that patients have well woman visits once a year. These visits are an opportunity for women to check in with their OB/GYN on any health or lifestyle changes, and continue to build on a trusting relationship with the doctor. An annual visit to Dr. Branning’s office also allows the doctor to check for any underlying health conditions or disease that may otherwise go undetected. Staying up to date on well woman visits will ensure optimal, ongoing health for each woman, through all stages of life. For people who are at risk for serious health conditions or for people who are already dealing with major health issues, these visits may need to be more frequent. Is A Pap Smear Part Of A Well Woman Visit? A pap smear is sometimes part of a well-woman visit, but not always. Pap smears should be done for virtually all women, but the intervals for the test vary. Women who are dealing with serious illnesses, for example, women who are HIV positive, will need pap smear tests more often. Women who suffer from immune system issues may also need more frequent pap smears. What Can A Gynecology Visit Include? Gynecology visits can be tailored to the patient’s individual needs. Healthy women may simply need a basic check-up and counseling on family planning. The doctor can also help with excessive bleeding during periods, erratic periods, painful periods, infertility treatment, menopause treatment, and urinary incontinence. The OB-GYN can perform all necessary tests and evaluations needed to make an accurate diagnosis. Treatment can involve oral medication, laparoscopic surgery, robotic surgery with the da Vinci system, and many other treatment options. The ultimate goal is to meet all of the needs that a woman has in terms of her reproductive health, so the gynecologist will be there at all stages of life, from adolescence through the senior years.
