Vaccinations
Routine vaccinations are one of the easiest ways to keep yourself healthy. Our pharmacies provide annual flu vaccines, COVID-19 vaccinations, routine child and adult immunizations, catch-up vaccines and travel vaccines.
This vaccine protects against Hepatitis A, an infection in the liver often spread by contaminated food and caused by hepatitis A virus. Adults traveling outside the country, those with chronic liver disease, and men who have sex with men need at least two doses.
This vaccine protects against Hepatitis B, a blood-borne infection of the liver caused by hepatitis B virus. Adults with chronic health conditions and healthcare workers should get three doses of this vaccine.
This vaccine protects against HPV, the major cause of cervical cancer, anal cancer, and genital warts in both women and men. Adults age 9-26 need at least two doses.
This vaccine protects against influenza, a contagious viral infection of the nose, throat, and lungs. Everyone 6 months and older should receive a yearly flu vaccine.
This vaccine protects against the respiratory disease measles, the infectious disease mumps, and the viral disease rubella. Adults born in 1957 or later need at least one dose.
There are two types of meningococcal vaccines that protect against meningococcal disease, a leading cause of bacterial meningitis infections around the brain and spinal cord. All 11-12 year olds should get a meningococcal conjugate vaccine and a booster dose at 16 years old. People age 16-23 years also may get a serogroup B meningococcal vaccine.
These vaccines protect against pneumococcal disease, caused by bacteria leading to ear and sinus infections as well as more serious lung and blood infections. If you smoke, have heart disease, asthma, chronic lung disease, or are over 65 years old, you need at least one dose.
This vaccine protects against polio, a disease that can infect a person’s spinal cord and cause paralysis. Children are recommended to get one vaccine dose at 2 months old, 4 months old, 6 through 18 months old, and 4 through 6 years old.
These vaccines protect against tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis which are contagious bacterial diseases. Adults need one dose of Tdap, then a Td or Tdap booster every 10 years.
Physical & Wellness Screenings
Our pharmacies offer a number of wellness screenings to help detect and prevent certain diseases.
When you come in for a biometric screening, your provider will measure your height, weight and blood pressure. They will also test your blood glucose, and lipids (cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL, LDL) using a finger prick to obtain a blood sample. Before leaving you will have your results along with risk reduction counseling to help you achieve your optimum health. **Biometric Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.
Blood glucose measurement detects the amount of glucose (sugar) in the bloodstream. High or low blood sugars could indicate a metabolic condition, such as diabetes.
Hemoglobin A1C measures your average blood glucose (sugar) over the past 90 days. An elevated hemoglobin A1C could indicate the presence of diabetes. **Hemoglobin A1C Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.
Cholesterol screening measures the amount of cholesterol, triglycerides, high density lipoprotein (HDL) and low density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol levels in the blood. Cholesterol screenings can detect conditions such as high cholesterol or high triglycerides.

Absolutely terrible service. This will be the last time I use this pharmacy. They are shockingly slow in filling prescriptions, which is unacceptable, especially if you’re in pain and urgently need medication. Save yourself the frustration and go somewhere else. To make matters worse, their phone system is atrocious. It continuously bounces you between automated prompts when all you want is to speak to a pharmacist. Avoid this place if you value your time and health.

Stay away from this location! My family recently moved to Frisco from the Mansfield area. We used Kroger pharmacy in south Arlington for so many years, and received stellar service . We transferred our prescriptions to this location hoping for the same. No such luck.
We've gone to this Main St location in Frisco 3 or 4 times now, and the service is HORRENDOUS! I thought that maybe the first couple of times were just a bad day. Nope! They are horrendous each and every day, consistently.
I saw a review posted a couple of months ago about the pharmacist having a bad attitude. I felt the same way a couple of visits ago when I dealt with her. Again, I thought maybe it was just me.
Today I had a prescription called in by my doctor that was out of stock. When I called the pharmacy to follow-up, I got Amy on the phone. Amy shouldn't be in a customer-facing position. She originally answered the phone, "Hello.". Then she hung up when she realized what she did. No biggie there. So I called back. Amy had an attitude and wasn't helpful at all. I can't imagine anyone that would allow this kind of service by those that work for them, unless of course, they too have the same bad attitude.
When I asked Amy to speak with her supervisor, I was put on hold. I held for awhile, but no one ever got on the phone. It eventually went to voicemail. I called the store phone # and asked for the store manager. I got Kevin. Kevin listened and seemed interested in what I had to say. Hopefully he can train or replace those in that pharmacy.
I've contacted HEB's pharmacy and am in the process of moving all of my prescriptions and my wife's prescriptions over to HEB. When I called, I got a friendly voice and someone that seemed genuine and willing to help.
