- SGSonia GuptaMay 13, 20264.0I went to Illume care around 2 weeks back. I wanted an appointment with Dr. Tran but I was told she was not available on Saturdays. The reason I took the exam on Saturday instead of a weekday was because I was told the eyes will be dilated. But when I went there the receptionist did the retinal imaging test and didnot dilate the eye before the eye exam! She didnt even remember well about the eye exam and I reminded her! I was there due to getting a floater check but as my insurance pays for the eye exam, I had confirmed a yes for the eye exam during my telephonic conversation with her. Anyways, I liked Dr. Choi. She did the eye exam and answered my questions too. I have gotten my new glasses now but I still feel some strain in the right eye. I do use the Tear plus eye drops sometimes as recommended by the doctor. I am wondering why I have constant eye strain in the eye. When I talked to another optometrist, I was told the eye should have been dilated and examined. I will leave this comment to be answered by Dr. Tran. Dr. Choi was great at her work. I am wondering if it is a mistake on the part of receptionist regarding the dilation or what.

The doctor was patient and listened to my concerns and made sure I got the right prescription lens. Overall. It was a smooth process and I would recommend them to anyone that needs their eyes tested.

She took her time and spent much more time helping me meet my needs than other optometrists in the past. I highly recommend. And I think Target should get her a larger work space!
