  Walked in and was literally hounded by an employee. I get it, but a greeting is sufficient. Instead I was asked for my prescription immediately in case it limited the frames I could choose. Then asked for insurance info on how it would be paid for, all within 3 minutes of entering the store. Walked the store for 20 minutes, wife decided she would stick with current frames (boutique) and order just the new prescription lens. Asked if this was ok and the employees demeanor changed immediately to disappointment and hesitation saying “we can do it but it will have to be shipped to our lab and we are not responsible of any damage to your frames”. Well that was enough for us to walk out. Obviously up-sale tactic to buy frames there. I understand the liability, but seriously?! With today’s technology, the possibility of damage happening to the frames is 1 in 100,000. The response should have been “Sure! We would be happy to do that for you. Let’s have a seat and discuss what options you’d like for your lenses.” The disclaimer about frame damage should be like the very last thing mentioned and should be followed up that it is very rare for it to occur, however in the unlikely event it did occur, LenCrafters will not be liable. Well you lost a previously loyal customer and unfortunately probably for life. Glasses are a sensitive subject and very personal, emotional and can be very expensive. Making the decision to keep the current frames was after shopping at 5 different stores. So to finally make that decision and to be immediately responded to with that attitude is a deal breaker. Educate your staff and do better.

  My glasses became loose and i brought them here to see if they could fix them. I was willing to pay since i didnt have the tiny socket or whatever. The group of ladies said no becuase of my brand of glasses that they need to send them out because they cant touch them. Walmart did it for me in 2 minutes time. This place is a joke.

  I’ve been missing a screw in my favorite ray ban sunglasses for so long and I finally got around to calling and asking somewhere if they could replace the screw. This location told me to head on in and they replaced the screw for me for free! Wish I would have come in sooner!
