Helene was fantastic! From day one in getting me set up with the perfect pair of glasses, to stying in contact throughout the process and quality checking the final pair. She was great! Thank you

Had a wonderful experience with LensCrafters in that the initial prescription wasn’t just right and they replace the lens and provided great service.

I want to share my experience so others know what to check before leaving the store. I ordered polycarbonate lenses, but received standard plastic (CR-39) lenses instead. The discrepancy is documented right on my receipt, so this isn't a he-said-she-said situation — it's a verifiable order fulfillment error.
What's been most frustrating isn't the mistake itself (mistakes happen), but the resolution: I was told it would take approximately 3 months to correct an error that was theirs, fully documented, and acknowledged. In the meantime, I'm left wearing lenses I didn't order and that don't offer the impact resistance and thinner profile I specifically paid for.
My advice to anyone ordering here: before you walk out, verify the lens material listed on your receipt matches what you ordered, and ask the staff to confirm it on the lenses themselves if possible. Polycarbonate and plastic look similar at a glance but are very different products at very different price points.
The staff I dealt with were polite, and I hope this gets resolved fairly. But a 3-month timeline to fix a documented store error is not acceptable customer service, and people should know that going in.

I spent a lot of time looking into new glasses and ended up choosing LensCrafters in Flower Mound. Reviews were a big reason for my decision, and Debbie was always mentioned in a great light. I was so happy when she helped me out! She quickly got to work figuring out the perfect frame for me. She brought different frames to try, noting what I didn't like about each one, and she was super knowledgeable about what was available in the store. Thanks to her, I found the perfect frame.
Then, it was time for the progressive lenses. Debbie made this part so much easier than I expected. She knew her product line inside and out and explained everything so well. She also made sure to get accurate measurements. Her friendly and open attitude, along with her clear desire to give excellent customer service, made me feel like I had struck gold when I left the store.

Unfortunately, I wasn’t thrilled with the new rimless glasses I purchased. They were too delicate for my liking. I was nervous about returning them under the 30-Day Happiness Guarantee, but Helen made the process incredibly easy. She also promptly retrieved the available glasses from the store based on my online list of potential options. Additionally, she shared some valuable insights with me.
Helen is a charming person to deal with, and I particularly enjoy her French accent. As other reviewers have mentioned, she’s exceptionally skilled at multitasking and making customers feel valued. I received my new glasses today, and I’m thoroughly satisfied with them.
My positive experiences with the remarkable staff at the Flower Mound LensCrafters have made me a loyal customer, and I’ll definitely travel to this location for any future eyewear needs.
Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
