  I previously had jaw surgery with Dr. David Yates when I was younger, so I was disappointed to be told I would still be considered a “new patient” years later. The screw on the left side of my jaw is now starting to poke through my tissue, and I even had to go to Urgent Care because I didn’t know what was protruding from my mouth. When I called, I was told there likely wouldn’t be appointments until September. I already have X-rays and simply wanted to know if this is a normal complication or something more serious. Very frustrating experience.

  I love it. The nurses are so nice and also the ladies in the front desk and Dr. Yates is an awesome surgeon and he’s so nice and very trustworthy.

  Dr. Yates, Dr. Makoshi, and their team are truly better than I could have ever imagined. From our very first appointment, they treated my son with such care, compassion, and expertise during his craniosynostosis journey and endoscopic surgery. They went above and beyond to make sure every appointment, question, and concern was taken care of, always making us feel supported and confident. I cannot recommend them enough! Their kindness, skill, and attention to detail are nothing short of miraculous, I honestly feel like they were sent from Heaven. We are forever grateful to Dr. Yates, Dr. Makoshi, and their team for everything they’ve done for our family.

  Dr. Yates is a God send! He saved our son, the whole process was clear and he laid out everything so simply. We knew what our options were and what the expectations were after. His team made scheduling and decision making so EASY. Putting the health of your child in someone else’s hands is one of the toughest things but I had no hesitation when it came to Dr. Yates. Absolute trust, would recommend over and over again.

  Dr. Yates is an amazing doctor with a wonderful bedside manner and amazing personality. He is able to put a nervous momma's mind at ease when discussing surgery, and the after care with followups from his team and himself really make you know that he is a surgeon who cares about all his patients. I am forever grateful he was the surgeon I was recommended to for a minimally invasive skull procedure. Dr. Yates, you are the best!
