The staff was very friendly and professional. The office was clean. The doctor was willing to answer all of my questions. The doctor was also patient with me when I was trying to figure out which image looked clearer to me. He never made me feel rushed in the decision like other doctors have in the past. I recommend Spectrum Vision to anyone looking for an Eye Doctor.

Spent about 5 minutes checking vision. It didn’t feel complete at all. My son is a type 1 diabetic-which I made sure to mention. No attention was given to that information.

I took my 8 year old to see Doctor Young for the first time. It was only his second eye exam ever and everyone was so kind to us. Dr. Young was engaging, patient and clear with my kiddo and honest about his vision needs. We would definitely consider coming back. The space is super tight, but that’s no fault of their own! Very good experience overall.

I was looking for a new eye doctor for various reasons. Besides never really being able to see well through the glasses the previous dr gave me, when questioned about the prescription, he told me: "I don't make mistakes". Well, somebody did and I'm not giving them another opportunity to do it again! I took a chance with Spectrum/Target and Dr Chad Young. I couldn't have been more pleased! The examination was much more thorough, his explanation as to what he thought I needed to do and what was wrong with my previous lens prescription was very informative, helpful and spot on! Thank you, Dr Young and staff for proving the issue wasn't all in my head....or eyes.
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What is involved in an eye exam?
An eye exam involves a series of simple but comprehensive tests that allow your optometrist to assess your vision and your eye health. Your optometrist will discuss the results of your eye exam with you and determine the right prescription to help you to see your best.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
