Vaccinations

Routine vaccinations are one of the easiest ways to keep yourself healthy. Our pharmacies provide annual flu vaccines, COVID-19 vaccinations, routine child and adult immunizations, catch-up vaccines and travel vaccines.

This vaccine protects against chickenpox, a disease caused by the varicella zoster virus. Adults born in 1980 or later need two doses.

This vaccine protects against coronavirus. Depending on the manufacturer, up to two doses and a booster are currently recommended.

This vaccine protects against Hepatitis A, an infection in the liver often spread by contaminated food and caused by hepatitis A virus. Adults traveling outside the country, those with chronic liver disease, and men who have sex with men need at least two doses.

This vaccine protects against Hepatitis B, a blood-borne infection of the liver caused by hepatitis B virus. Adults with chronic health conditions and healthcare workers should get three doses of this vaccine.

This vaccine protects against HPV, the major cause of cervical cancer, anal cancer, and genital warts in both women and men. Adults age 9-26 need at least two doses.

This vaccine protects against influenza, a contagious viral infection of the nose, throat, and lungs. Everyone 6 months and older should receive a yearly flu vaccine.

This vaccine protects against the respiratory disease measles, the infectious disease mumps, and the viral disease rubella. Adults born in 1957 or later need at least one dose.

There are two types of meningococcal vaccines that protect against meningococcal disease, a leading cause of bacterial meningitis infections around the brain and spinal cord. All 11-12 year olds should get a meningococcal conjugate vaccine and a booster dose at 16 years old. People age 16-23 years also may get a serogroup B meningococcal vaccine.

These vaccines protect against pneumococcal disease, caused by bacteria leading to ear and sinus infections as well as more serious lung and blood infections. If you smoke, have heart disease, asthma, chronic lung disease, or are over 65 years old, you need at least one dose.

This vaccine protects against polio, a disease that can infect a person’s spinal cord and cause paralysis. Children are recommended to get one vaccine dose at 2 months old, 4 months old, 6 through 18 months old, and 4 through 6 years old.

This vaccine protects against shingles, a painful skin rash caused by the varicella zoster virus. Adults age 50 and older need two doses.

These vaccines protect against tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis which are contagious bacterial diseases. Adults need one dose of Tdap, then a Td or Tdap booster every 10 years.

Physical & Wellness Screenings

Our pharmacies offer a number of wellness screenings to help detect and prevent certain diseases.

When you come in for a biometric screening, your provider will measure your height, weight and blood pressure. They will also test your blood glucose, and lipids (cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL, LDL) using a finger prick to obtain a blood sample. Before leaving you will have your results along with risk reduction counseling to help you achieve your optimum health. **Biometric Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.

Blood glucose measurement detects the amount of glucose (sugar) in the bloodstream. High or low blood sugars could indicate a metabolic condition, such as diabetes.

Hemoglobin A1C measures your average blood glucose (sugar) over the past 90 days. An elevated hemoglobin A1C could indicate the presence of diabetes. **Hemoglobin A1C Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.

Cholesterol screening measures the amount of cholesterol, triglycerides, high density lipoprotein (HDL) and low density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol levels in the blood. Cholesterol screenings can detect conditions such as high cholesterol or high triglycerides.

The pharmacy told me it was going to take 20 minutes for them to get my child's medication. I was there for an hour and 10 minutes shopping around and just lollygagging trying to waste time. When I got back over there she told me to wait just 5 more minutes and after 8 minutes I decided to leave. I'm going to call and have them transfer to a different Kroger pharmacy because that's just ridiculous. Other people came and went while we waited

They are always busy...but nice and friendly. I get texts reminders about up coming refills. When a particular refill had been discontinued by Dr and I hadnt checked yes on the text.....the pharmacy followed up with phone call to double check. I get texts when my refill is ready or if its still being processed. If med not available they always let me know ..sometimes pharmacy has to order it . The pharmacy techs are pleasant and helpful. Also the pharmacist is always available for questions.

Same as many others. Script is never ready even if you show up 2-3 hours after given pu time. Don't answer phone and don't respond to drive up. Both the pharmacy and the store are poorly managed.

I’m so disappointed in Kroger pharmacies! I have never felt so direspected. Honestly, I have never asked for a rush on a prescription but today we are leaving to go out of town and my husband needs his medication. I wait in the line for over 30 mins (My husband and I arrived early on a Sunday b/c they don’t open until 11am) and then I drop off my husbands rx. I’m notified to come back to pick this up later in afternoon!!! If u are the second person in line when they open why would you have to wait 6 hours for a prescription anyways??? I politely told them we are leaving to go out of town and need it sooner than “later this afternoon” . they tell me to take it to a different pharmacy!!! What kind of customer service is this. They tell me they just opened! If they just opened and I’m the second customer to drop off then why is the wait so long? After I asked this question the tech then refuses to take my prescription and the prescription almost blows out of the little basket at drive thru window!!! This awful pharmacy technicians name is Andrew Adams! He screamed at me! How can a pharmacy technician talk to a customer like this? I can’t just go to any pharmacy! I don’t have insurance and I have to use good rx for my husbands medicine. He can’t go without his medication. Andrew Adams has no compassion for my husband as a patient or a customer at Kroger. I work as a nurse in the medical field. I have never and will never treat a person this way. I usually don’t do reviews but if this man treated me this way right when they open, then I can’t imagine how he treats the elderly or someone after working long hours. I think he should be happy he has a job. There are so many people that are unemployed due to the pandemic. There are so many of us that are hurting right now and we are going through enough and this kind of disrespect is awful. This isn’t some random pharmacy that I chose. We always go to this pharmacy. I have never been treated this way! It’s just not right.
