They cost about $1500 to get scratch resistant coating, anti-glare, progressives, etc. I dropped them and now there is a somewhat large and very bothersome scratch. I didn’t pay extra for their protection plan, so they won’t replace the lenses. Apparently they only cover 30 days which is hardly any time. Other places I’ve purchased glasses from provide 1 year coverage when I’ve paid for the scratch resistant coating. And I didn’t have to purchase any special protection plan. They just backed their product. This is also the first time I’ve had this happen this soon after buying glasses, so I’m not impressed with the quality of the product. When I pay for an add on, I expect it to have a reasonable warranty. I guess I shouldn’t have assumed that would be the case here. This is not good customer service, nor good quality. I will NOT be giving my business to Lenscrafters again.
