  I have struggled with getting the right hearing devices. My work places me in a variety of challenging hearing environments. I have was able obtain hearing aids that have improved my ability to communicate both my on the job and at home I got a. device they call the “Roger”. It is sort of like a sophisticated external microphone which can be aimed at a speaker who is a distance away but also can be placed on a conference table where it enhances the ability to hear each person at the table. I very important aspect of the experience was the patient and detailed help of the audiologist, Cash Rogers. I sometimes struggle with understanding and applying the advanced technology present in devices today. He took the time to download the app for my hearing aids on my I phone and showed me how use it. Before we were through he had run me through answering phone. calls, controlling volumes and pointers on how to make adjustments in difficult hearing environments. He is a good teacher. I left confident that I knew how to operate and adjust my equipment to get the best results. I have already noticed the difference at work and home. He is a guy who obviously enjoys his work. I enjoyed meeting him and am certain his input will make my outcome the best it can be.
