  We live 45 minutes from this office but we followed Dr Heaton to Cedar Park! I have twin boys with autism and he developed a plan to get them comfortable with having dental work. He and this whole office staff has been such a blessing to our family!!! We would drive 2-3 hours to see him if we had to- thank you for having a heart and patience and love for special needs! We are forever grateful!!!

  We are incredibly grateful for the care our son received at this pediatric dental office. When our 4-year-old needed an emergency extraction under general anesthesia, Southern Stars was able to fit us in on a short notice and we drove an hour from home to get there as soon as possible. Not only did they take care of the extraction, but they also worked with us tremendously to be able to complete all of the dental treatment our son needed in one visit. We were hesistant at first but we knew that all their recommendations were in the best interest of our son and that they genuinely cared about him and any future pain or anesthia they wanted to avoid for him. The entire staff here was kind, professional, prompt, exteremly informative, and incredibly patient in answering our many questions. Ms. Clarissa at the front and Dr. Heaton from their anesthesia team were so compassionate and reassuring to calm our nerves the about type of procedure, cost, and sedation needed. Dr. Wyatt exceeded our expectation in saving our son's teeth and recovery was quick! Everyone here ensured they cared for us until we walked out the door. The staff here are exceptional in their care and we're so grateful that we were led to your office. We plan to make the hour drive for all future routine appointments, I could not trust any other place more than this office with our children.

  Staff and dentists are very nice. My grandson is autistic and they are very patient and caring with him. Office Is nice and clean. My only constructive criticism is the timeliness of service. We usually have to wait about 30 minutes which is hard with special-needs kids.

  We have been bringing our 8-year-old son to this dental office for several years, and overall we have had a very positive experience. The office is clean and welcoming, and the staff are friendly, professional, and skilled. One thing I have always appreciated is that the staff has remained consistent over the years, which I think is a very good sign. That said, the last two visits have been frustrating because of the wait time. Last January, we were there for about two hours just so the dentist could examine my son after his cleaning. Today, six months later, he had a cleaning and treatment done, and while I understand that treatment can take more time, three hours felt excessive. In my opinion, everything that was done should have taken about an hour, or perhaps an hour and a half at most. It seems like there may be an issue with scheduling too much work and not allowing enough time for the doctor to complete what needs to be done. I really like this office and appreciate the care they provide, but the waiting time has become a real concern and needs to improve.
