  They cannot fulfill my order because there isn't enough staff to place pills into a container. I stand in front of the pharmacy as I write this. They rejected my request to pick up my prescribed medication and told me to go elsewhere. I was attended with no one else in line and 15 minutes to closing. I have to travel tomorrow and I won't be able to pick up tomorrow. So I came today. With no one else in line, i was told that they couldn't help fill my prescription. I guess they didn't want to work. Even after I told them I didn't mind waiting a bit. The lady looked behind her as if telling me to look without and said, there's just not that many people to help. Ridiculous! There's no one willing to attend did she mentally clock out for the day. Sucks to suck. 👎👎👎 HEB

  I recently got a prescription for 0.25MG testosterone. At consult, I told them I had never done this before. The consulting pharmacist said, “one vial per injection; draw with the blue needle, inject with the orange.” That’s all she said. So, I did exactly that. Then I noticed the box the vials are in says 1mL. So I pulled a whole mL instead of drawing 0.25 because I assumed the vials contained the prescribed amount, and also I was following the pharmacist’s instructions: “one vial per injection.” I injected myself with 4x the dosage I had been prescribed, all because of poor, negligent pharmacy consult instructions! Thank god it wasn’t a life-threatening medication like insulin! Anyway, I’m changing pharmacies. This kind of inattention to medication dosage is serious and downright inexcusable.

  After work, I stopped by this HEB pharmacy to pick up my mom’s prescription since I was already in the area. I gave DAVID my mom’s name and date of birth. After seeing that she was born in said year, he said, “She’s been around for a long time.” That comment was completely unnecessary and unprofessional. I wasn’t there for jokes or commentary about my mother’s age—I was there to pick up a prescription. Employees should focus on providing respectful customer service instead of making personal remarks that can easily come across as insensitive. This was my second negative experience at this HEB in the same day. After the way I was treated this morning and then experiencing this at the pharmacy, I’ve decided I will not be returning to this location. I’ll continue shopping at the HEB stores where customers are treated with courtesy, professionalism, and respect.

  Always great friendly service. Pharmacist always ready to answer questions, even suggested over the counter replacement for expensive prescription drugs.
