  This is such an inefficient pharmacy (and grocery store), plan to wait at least 30 minutes in the drive thru, and HORRIBLE communication from the techs. Just send your script elsewhere.

  I am extremely disappointed with the service at the HEB Pharmacy in Buda. The wait times are consistently excessive, and prescriptions are not filled in a timely manner. What was most frustrating was the complete lack of empathy for patients who are already dealing with illness. My baby was discharged from the hospital with a prescription for antibiotics. We understood the prescription wouldn’t be filled the instant it was sent over, so we gave the pharmacy nearly two hours before arriving. After waiting that long plus the line to get to the window, we were told to come back the next day because it still wasn’t ready, I told them this isn’t a med that can wait for my infant When a child has just been discharged from the hospital and needs antibiotics, delaying medication until the following day is unacceptable. Families should not have to argue to get time sensitive medications after already spending hours in the hospital. And being told to come inside to wait with a sick infant is rude and lack of situational awareness. If I was okay with hauling my sick, fussy, contagious baby inside I would have. I understand pharmacies are busy but communication, urgency, and compassion matter especially when caring for sick children. I hope HEB addresses the staffing and workflow issues at this location so other families don’t have to experience the same frustration. Especially not being local I thought sending my script to a well known store and one I use back home I would see professionalism and compassion.

  I've been filling my RXs at HEB for years and never had a problem, until I attempted to transfer them here tonight. Both techs working the counter take their job waaaay too seriously. I've never had anyone at an HEB be openly hostile to customers before this. I can see why this location is averaging 2 stars and every other location is 4+

  While in town visiting my daughter, I realized I had lost one of my medications. After reading some of the reviews, I was concerned that my situation might not be taken seriously or handled slowly, which i did not have the luxury of time. Because of the reviews, I initially contacted my local H-E-B for help, but was told I needed to go thru the Buda location directly. Amanda answered the phone and immediately put me at ease. She listened, assured me she would do everything she could to help, and took the time to check with my insurance. Thanks to her diligence, my medication was covered as a lost prescription. I was ecstatic. Put of pocket would have been very expensive. Based on my one experience, I don't understand the negative reviews. Everyone was friendly and accomodating. But if this is your pharmacy, go see Amanda. She will take care of you.👍🏼 Thanks again Amanda, for treating me with kindness and urgency when I really needed it. 🥰😀

  This is the worst pharmacy I have ever used. Extremely unorganized and they flat out are refusing to refill my scripts.
