  Excellent doctor and staff is remarkable, I have bad panic attacks and Crohn’s disease they listen to everything you say and help accommodate your needs it is amazing how some people can be so caring.

  Exceptional!! Dr. Burd is very caring, very professional, will go above and beyond to help solve any of your dental issues and more. Oh and the staff is super good too. I have never encountered a rude moment. 10000 % recommended

  Great doctor, but terrible office management, billing issues, and withheld X-rays. ​I want to state upfront that Dr. Burd himself was wonderful. He was very nice, took his time with me, and explained everything clearly during my visit. ​Unfortunately, his front office and billing administration are a complete nightmare. My first appointment was on June 24th, and I was required to pay $280 out of pocket up front for X-rays. I was explicitly told I would receive my money back once they processed it through my insurance. Afterward, the office claimed they couldn't find my insurance despite my provider confirming my active coverage and out-of-network benefits. Because they "can't find" my insurance, it feels like they are simply trying to keep my $280 while leaving me unable to get scheduled for treatment for a full month. Today is July 23rd, and I am still stuck waiting. ​To make matters worse, I called several times on Thur, July 23, 2026 to resolve this and staff repeatedly hung up on me. They finally answered me and when I requested copies of the X-rays I paid for and an itemized receipt, the representative explicitly told me "Dr. Burd doesn't give out X-rays." When I informed her that withholding diagnostic records was against the law, she immediately backtracked and changed her story to "Yeah, we can provide you your X-rays." ​When I spoke to the practice manager (Dr. Burd's wife) and told her that her staff had hung up on me several times, she completely dismissed my experience and claimed her office "would never do anything like that." She then personally promised to email my X-rays and receipt so I could file the insurance claim myself. Instead of emailing me the information, she sent me an email stating a digital copy is not available so I will need to go in and pick up myself this Tuesday which is fine with me. Will be back to update my review if any issues at that time. I was also recommended by the staff that I may need to go to Houston for services, that's fine too but I will need to bring the X-rays that I've already paid for with me to another specialist. ​It is extremely disappointing that such a kind, skilled doctor has an office staff and management that gaslights patients, makes up rules until called out, handles insurance poorly, and holds onto patient funds and records. Proceed with caution. I am back to update my review. I did go to another place where I had no issues with my insurance. They actually found my information when I called over the phone and scheduled right then. I did receive printed paper copies of my X-rays from Dr. Byrds office which they could not use, they needed digital X-rays so I had to pay for X-rays again since Dr. Byrds wife let me know by email they couldn't provide to me. They did provide me with 2 checks to refund me what I paid out of pocket but still charged my insurance which they stated they couldn't find so now I am dealing with that.

  Dr Burd is God sent and his staff are angels in disguised. My experience with them was professional, comfortable, and hospitable. Dr Burd help me save my teeth I was in bad shape. My gums were bleeding with inflammation. I was really concerned but Dr Burd and his staff made me feel good and confident that everything will be alright and it was. God bless Dr Burd and his staff!

  Dr. Burd and his staff are wonderful. The office is very clean, you can tell that they care about every detail! Dr. Burd does fabulous work and truly cares about his patients. He is careful and thoughtful during procedures. I had 1 of my 2 gum grafts done over Thanksgiving 2020, Dr. Burd and a nurse came in while the office was closed for the holiday to do a treatment on my gums to prevent pain. Highly recommend Dr. Burd! Very happy with my gum grafts and look forward to working with him again to do the others.
