- TSToby StonerJun 26, 20261.0I went to Warby Parker to upgrade from my $10 WalMart reading glasses to the real thing because I had heard good things about them. My $1,000 for two pairs of prescription glasses turned out to be a horrible mistake. Their in house "expert" talked me into headache inducing progressive "trifocals" when I needed bifocals. I've been wearing them every day since for several months and taken them back for ineffective "adjustments" twice and they're still lousy. Their focus would be sharp if only I could screw them 2mm inside my skull. I'm going back again tomorrow to give them a last chance to provide the glasses I needed all along. If anyone has a suggestion for a competent glasses provider, please let me know.
