I've been coming here for a year and a half, and I've finally had enough. The 3 star average on Google Maps is pretty consistent with the service I've come to expect. Here are my frequent experiences:
-Their phone system has not worked in the whole time I've been coming here. If I want to place a refill, I have to call and go through their menu to speak to someone (and am often put on hold).
-Their pharmacist "isn't in right now". I've been told to wait 30mins for the pharmacist to come back from break, and then an hour later I've been told I might as well go home and come back the next day because they don't know where the pharmacist went.
-Long wait times (30+ min today of standing in the ice cream isle today). This wouldn't be so bad if they actually had the meds I waited 30 minutes in line to pick up.
-Their meds are never ready on time. Ex. they will be ready Sunday, but then when I come in Monday evening I'm told they MIGHT be ready Tuesday. Or they might not, they don't really know.
-Their customer service is very inconsistent in terms of what they tell you. Like they say they will deliver your meds on a certain day for you, and then they don't, and by then it's too late to pick it up. This has happened maybe 3 times out of my 5 deliveries.
Really what I want from a pharmacy is realistic expectations, because I need to know in order to make an informed decision about my medication. If people are trusting you with their health and well being, you should take it seriously.
If you tell me that I can't get my meds for 5 days, I can roll with that. But don't tell me I'll get them the next day and then string me along for the next 4 days. If you tell me that you can't deliver a certain day, that's okay. But don't tell me you will deliver and then not show up or even call to let me know. If you tell me to come back tomorrow, I can do that. But don't tell me to wait around in an HEB for 30 minutes, and then an hour, and then tell me to go home after I've waited an hour. If you forget to place my refill when I called and requested it, I understand, I'm sure you're busy. But don't pretend to my face that I never requested it in the first place. Just pretty pretty please level with your customers from the start.
As a bonus complaint for the store as a whole, they never properly sanitized their carts during the height of COVID. The carts weren't wiped down at all. Instead, they put all of the carts into a "stack" and then ran it quickly under a tiny mister, which maybe hit 10% of the surface area of each cart (and only the top, not the sides or underneath, or the handle).
It would be safer to announce that they aren't sanitizing them so that people have the choice/opportunity to wipe theirs down or not. Letting people think you are taking precautions when you aren't is irresponsible.
