- JMJohn MaysonApr 1, 20152.0The pharmacy is great. It's the rest of the store that I dislike. One evening my son and drove to this HEB. It was dark and raining and he parked a little over into a hashed area of the parking lot. But the parking lot was fairly empty and it's not like we were hogging two spaces. Suddenly a large man started pounding on his car and yelling at us. He had his hand on a gun that was holstered. He never identified himself as security and I thought we were being carjacked. I told my son just to back up and get out of there. Luckily my son froze up. It wasn't until a few days later I saw the same man riding a bicycle around the parking lot, armed, with a shirt that read "SECURITY" on the back. Parking improperly was not a reason for him to be reaching for his gun. In Texas people carry weapons. If he does the same to the wrong person he's likely going to get himself shot. I shop at a different HEB whenever possible as I don't feel safe with him there.
