  This pharmacy needs to work heavily on their competence. I tried to pick up a prescription after work today, after seeing my GP this morning. The pharmacist at the front desk told me the prescription had already been filled and billed to insurance elsewhere. They could not see in the system where it was filled which they claimed meant it was likely a non-HEB pharmacy which filled it. This was very confusing to me as I have only used HEB to fill my prescriptions. I called my health insurance to see where the medication was filled. It turns out, HEB Mueller filled the prescription, forgot, then tried to refill it AGAIN. Thus causing an error and a delay in my medication being filled. My insurance provider confirmed that this is the most likely situation. I only caught it so early because this is one of three similar errors in just the six months I’ve been using this pharmacy. Disappointing and I would expect better from HEB

  Apparently there has been a significant change within the HEB Pharmacy system that has had a negative impact on me filling my prescription medication. Because of this, HEB Pharmacy has refused to refill a prescription that I have had refilled at this location every month for the last two years. I really wish HEB Pharmacy alerted me to this sooner (not the day of) so I could have attempted to mitigate this issue before the day my prescription was due to be refilled. Because now I've been left with three options 1) book an appointment with MD who isn't available until November and not have my meds filled until then 2) book an appointment with a different MD sooner, but lose the ability to have service provided by the NP whom I've been established with for the last 2 years and 3) call all over town to other pharmacies that I am not familiar with to see if they are able to fill my prescription. Not only is this very frustrating, it's also difficult to manage a lapse in meds that my body is used to on top of it all.

  if i could give a negative star i would. Did a pick up order/drive thru and the person in the front kept saying it got picked up. I was very confused because I didnt picked up. She started saying/assuming it was my mom, dad or partner who picked up my medication. I got really upset and asked if they can check the cameras to see “who supposedly pick the medication” and finally she just said “my pharmacist will refill it for you”. No apology! Plain ridiculous, rude and unprofessional. I kept saying what happened to my “picked up medication” and her response was just “idk”.

  I really wish I could transfer my son’s medication to an H-E-B location that keeps it in stock more consistently. Unfortunately, my experiences with the staff at this location have been extremely disappointing. I have been hung up on several times while simply trying to ask a question, and the staff frequently speak to me with a rude and dismissive attitude. Dealing with medication is stressful enough, and customers should be treated with patience, respect, and basic courtesy.
