  Unfortunately the HEB Pharmacy on Lake Austin just decided out of nowhere they no longer wanted to fill my prescription after 3 years of it being called in from the same clinic from the same physician.

  Not very good service :( gave me a hard time with prescriptions as well..

  The pharmacy regularly messes up prescriptions. My doctor has asked me to change from them because they've messed up so many times. The pharmacist are also paternalistic. They will try to give you advice about medication that your doctor already gave you but the issue is one. They do not know anything about your medical situation and two, they do not even read your full Pharmacy record with them when they give us advice so every single time they tried it's been wrong and then they try to tell you that it's mandatory but it's not. It's a rule that this Pharmacy made up because they think it will help them increase client happiness but even when you say I don't need or want advice or you explain to them where it's wrong they will not update the system. They will not learn. They will then say if you don't want the advice you don't have to get it after telling you that it's mandatory I will be changing pharmacies because I don't wanna spend time agitating my nervous system because the pharmacist has an ego problem.

  Changing my one star to three star. Yes, I've had problems with prescriptions not being ready on time, automatically refills that never refill, etc, but they are very nice people who obviously work very hard.

  I LOVE this pharmacy! The staff is always polite and will patiently answer any and all of your questions. The pharmacy is also very clean. Lastly, they never fail to keep me informed if they are unable to get a medication and will keep trying until they get it. Maybe I was just accustomed to the opposite service at CVS across the street. They are rude, slow, and become irritated if you request ANY clarification- be it price or availability. They don’t bother to inform you if they don’t have the medication until you come to pick it up. They have no qualms for leaving you in the lurch. And god forbid you complain to them! They will make you pay in a myriad of petty ways. HEB Pharmacy on Lake Austin Blvd is a refreshing change. Thanks HEB!
