We had a wonderful experience at Global Periatrics. Dr. Ram Vangala really spends time and was thorough. We also appreciate. We also appreciate the office staff, Jasmine and Diavonni, they were so nice and helpful!

Worst kids' clinic. The front desk receptionists are not friendly they seem like they hate their jobs or just don't like children. The doctor who saw my child was terrible he seems like he's just there to collect checks. I will not recommend any parents bring their children here.

Great doctor, terrible and disrespectful practice I genuinely respect Dr. Vangala, but the way this practice is run is unacceptable and frankly disrespectful to patients’ time and needs. The front-office operations are chaotic, unprofessional, and completely undermine the quality of care she provides. Every wellness visit here turns into a 90-minute to 2-hour ordeal, and that’s not an exaggeration but a repeated experience over multiple visits. Staff have literally forgotten that our baby needed scheduled vaccinations more than once, leaving us sitting in the room until we finally had to remind them ourselves. During these long waits, I have repeatedly seen front-desk staff chatting among themselves and eating at the front desk instead of paying attention to the families who are checking in. They enforce petty rules like “don’t touch the front glass,” yet they don’t show the same level of seriousness when it comes to actually managing patients and appointments. Parents are left standing there waiting to be acknowledged, which feels both inefficient and disrespectful. For working parents, this level of incompetence is not just annoying, it is disruptive and exhausting. Coordinating school pickups and drop-offs already takes close to an hour, and when a “simple” wellness visit routinely drags to two hours, it easily becomes a three-hour disruption in the middle of the workday. The communication failure around sick visits is even worse. We scheduled a sick visit for our daughter and were never informed in advance that the doctor would be unavailable for the entire following week. No phone call, no email, no message, nothing. We only found out after the fact and were casually told to “go to urgent care,” as if we hadn’t already thought of that and as if our time and planning meant nothing. In my opinion, this practice is a textbook example of how poor staffing, bad training, and lack of basic systems can ruin what should be a reliable pediatric experience. A great doctor alone cannot compensate for a front office that is this disorganized, inattentive, and careless toward patients’ time. Unless they overhaul their staff training, processes, and communication, I would not recommend this practice to working families who need a clinic that respects their time and can handle routine care without turning every visit into a marathon.
