Vaccinations

Routine vaccinations are one of the easiest ways to keep yourself healthy. Our pharmacies provide annual flu vaccines, COVID-19 vaccinations, routine child and adult immunizations, catch-up vaccines and travel vaccines.

This vaccine protects against chickenpox, a disease caused by the varicella zoster virus. Adults born in 1980 or later need two doses.

This vaccine protects against coronavirus. Depending on the manufacturer, up to two doses and a booster are currently recommended.

This vaccine protects against Hepatitis A, an infection in the liver often spread by contaminated food and caused by hepatitis A virus. Adults traveling outside the country, those with chronic liver disease, and men who have sex with men need at least two doses.

This vaccine protects against Hepatitis B, a blood-borne infection of the liver caused by hepatitis B virus. Adults with chronic health conditions and healthcare workers should get three doses of this vaccine.

This vaccine protects against HPV, the major cause of cervical cancer, anal cancer, and genital warts in both women and men. Adults age 9-26 need at least two doses.

This vaccine protects against influenza, a contagious viral infection of the nose, throat, and lungs. Everyone 6 months and older should receive a yearly flu vaccine.

This vaccine protects against the respiratory disease measles, the infectious disease mumps, and the viral disease rubella. Adults born in 1957 or later need at least one dose.

There are two types of meningococcal vaccines that protect against meningococcal disease, a leading cause of bacterial meningitis infections around the brain and spinal cord. All 11-12 year olds should get a meningococcal conjugate vaccine and a booster dose at 16 years old. People age 16-23 years also may get a serogroup B meningococcal vaccine.

These vaccines protect against pneumococcal disease, caused by bacteria leading to ear and sinus infections as well as more serious lung and blood infections. If you smoke, have heart disease, asthma, chronic lung disease, or are over 65 years old, you need at least one dose.

This vaccine protects against polio, a disease that can infect a person’s spinal cord and cause paralysis. Children are recommended to get one vaccine dose at 2 months old, 4 months old, 6 through 18 months old, and 4 through 6 years old.

This vaccine protects against shingles, a painful skin rash caused by the varicella zoster virus. Adults age 50 and older need two doses.

These vaccines protect against tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis which are contagious bacterial diseases. Adults need one dose of Tdap, then a Td or Tdap booster every 10 years.

Physical & Wellness Screenings

Our pharmacies offer a number of wellness screenings to help detect and prevent certain diseases.

When you come in for a biometric screening, your provider will measure your height, weight and blood pressure. They will also test your blood glucose, and lipids (cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL, LDL) using a finger prick to obtain a blood sample. Before leaving you will have your results along with risk reduction counseling to help you achieve your optimum health. **Biometric Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.

Blood glucose measurement detects the amount of glucose (sugar) in the bloodstream. High or low blood sugars could indicate a metabolic condition, such as diabetes.

Hemoglobin A1C measures your average blood glucose (sugar) over the past 90 days. An elevated hemoglobin A1C could indicate the presence of diabetes. **Hemoglobin A1C Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.

Cholesterol screening measures the amount of cholesterol, triglycerides, high density lipoprotein (HDL) and low density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol levels in the blood. Cholesterol screenings can detect conditions such as high cholesterol or high triglycerides.

I used to like them, there never busy and always quick to answer there phone polite and friendly BUT I'm going to leave them after 6 years. Because they are EXTREMELY PICKY ON PRESCRIPTION CLARIFCATION! that any human would understand was an obvious error. You could be on the medication for 5 years but if there's so much as .1% imperfection in the prescription and or details on how to take it they WILL NOT FILL IT. Regardless if you need the medication or not. THEY DONT CARE! The only care about themselves and making sure they are 100% not at fault just in case they get in legal trouble. Great so for that .001% possiblity that will happen the patient suffers! YUP that's right and you will I promise you just wait it has happen to me 5-6 times over the many years it takes sometimes multiple days to fix per issue if there busy or doctors busy or if one of them forget you have to call and check up to see if they have an update every time this happens I've probably wasted 7-12 days just waiting to get a clarification fixed and I've had it.. There's a dozen pharmacy options in a 10 mile radius I left CVS who has a 2.5 stars rating down the road to go to Kroger 6 yrs ago. But I'm done with Kroger now and I'll find someone else. ✌️

I had no issues with the employees or anything like that, but this pharmacy requires proof of prescription to purchase insulin needles because of street drug users, which is a counterproductive practice. I had subcutaneous medication delivered through goodrx and wasn’t logged in through my phone so I had no proof. I would prefer drug users having access to clean needles rather than reusing and buying from people off the street. Whoever manages this pharmacy needs to put their prejudice aside and follow evidence-based practice. We have decades of research showing that access to sterile needles does not increase incidence of illegal drug use, and this is just an inconvenience for people like myself that use GLP-1 medications.

I no longer have confidence in this pharmacy and can not trust them ... Their good reputation is no longer deserved ... They continually blame the various doctors for their failures ... Too many times they have been caught in obvious lies ... I have asked for contact information for an area manager, but have been refused ... they have promised that a district manager would contact me ... Of course it has never happened ... It is shameful they have let a good operation come apart at the seams
