Vaccinations

Routine vaccinations are one of the easiest ways to keep yourself healthy. Our pharmacies provide annual flu vaccines, COVID-19 vaccinations, routine child and adult immunizations, catch-up vaccines and travel vaccines.

This vaccine protects against chickenpox, a disease caused by the varicella zoster virus. Adults born in 1980 or later need two doses.

This vaccine protects against coronavirus. Depending on the manufacturer, up to two doses and a booster are currently recommended.

This vaccine protects against Hepatitis A, an infection in the liver often spread by contaminated food and caused by hepatitis A virus. Adults traveling outside the country, those with chronic liver disease, and men who have sex with men need at least two doses.

This vaccine protects against Hepatitis B, a blood-borne infection of the liver caused by hepatitis B virus. Adults with chronic health conditions and healthcare workers should get three doses of this vaccine.

This vaccine protects against HPV, the major cause of cervical cancer, anal cancer, and genital warts in both women and men. Adults age 9-26 need at least two doses.

This vaccine protects against influenza, a contagious viral infection of the nose, throat, and lungs. Everyone 6 months and older should receive a yearly flu vaccine.

This vaccine protects against the respiratory disease measles, the infectious disease mumps, and the viral disease rubella. Adults born in 1957 or later need at least one dose.

There are two types of meningococcal vaccines that protect against meningococcal disease, a leading cause of bacterial meningitis infections around the brain and spinal cord. All 11-12 year olds should get a meningococcal conjugate vaccine and a booster dose at 16 years old. People age 16-23 years also may get a serogroup B meningococcal vaccine.

These vaccines protect against pneumococcal disease, caused by bacteria leading to ear and sinus infections as well as more serious lung and blood infections. If you smoke, have heart disease, asthma, chronic lung disease, or are over 65 years old, you need at least one dose.

This vaccine protects against polio, a disease that can infect a person’s spinal cord and cause paralysis. Children are recommended to get one vaccine dose at 2 months old, 4 months old, 6 through 18 months old, and 4 through 6 years old.

This vaccine protects against shingles, a painful skin rash caused by the varicella zoster virus. Adults age 50 and older need two doses.

These vaccines protect against tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis which are contagious bacterial diseases. Adults need one dose of Tdap, then a Td or Tdap booster every 10 years.

Physical & Wellness Screenings

Our pharmacies offer a number of wellness screenings to help detect and prevent certain diseases.

When you come in for a biometric screening, your provider will measure your height, weight and blood pressure. They will also test your blood glucose, and lipids (cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL, LDL) using a finger prick to obtain a blood sample. Before leaving you will have your results along with risk reduction counseling to help you achieve your optimum health. **Biometric Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.

Blood glucose measurement detects the amount of glucose (sugar) in the bloodstream. High or low blood sugars could indicate a metabolic condition, such as diabetes.

Hemoglobin A1C measures your average blood glucose (sugar) over the past 90 days. An elevated hemoglobin A1C could indicate the presence of diabetes. **Hemoglobin A1C Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.

Cholesterol screening measures the amount of cholesterol, triglycerides, high density lipoprotein (HDL) and low density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol levels in the blood. Cholesterol screenings can detect conditions such as high cholesterol or high triglycerides.

UPDATE 12/15 The pharmacist, Scott, was very calm and kind when he picked up the phone. I expected an unruly pharmacist with a bad attitude to pick up the phone. My boyfriend picked up my prescription for me so I can get the work done that I missed yesterday for all the back and forth with this pharmacy. He confirmed that both Scott and the technician, Maryam, were super nice. Adding a star because it’s either a hit or miss. You’re either going to get a pharmacist who is kind and talks to you like a person or you’re going to get one who will take their anger out on you before you even speak. ———— 12/14 They don't pick up. They give you the wrong medication. And they raise their tone complaining about how my clinic is wrong and they don't know what they're doing... I can hear the eye rolls through the phone. Too aggressive to me. I'm just here to pick up my CORRECT medication, then leave 🫠

Not sure what has been going on here the last few months. But it seems like they are not prepared for anything The drive thru take priority even if you have been standing in line for 10 mins with no in the drive thru and. When someone does pull up seems like they make it Priority. They can have my RX for 24 hours and I still have to wait 30 mins. Think it’s time to switch to someone else

Update 6/2021: I have been in a bit of a medication crisis because my primary care provider's office will not send in my prescriptions from my appointment over a month ago. I hate to keep hassling you to check if my prescriptions are there yet because I know you all are extra busy doing the Covid-19 vaccines. Your tech found some prescriptions that were still valid on file, and filled them quickly. I just want to thank you, it's very stressful to run out of medications and not be able to get someone at my doctor's office on the phone. I've been using this pharmacy for years. While some things are out of their control, eg: how busy they are, problems getting insurance approval, etc, I know they work hard to get it fixed, and are always very polite about it. They are fast at getting uncommon medications in stock too, usually less than 48 hours. The pharmacists on duty will always explain possible medication interactions with me and are great at giving vaccines (no sore arm the next day). If I've had a worrying side effect, I can always call them and they take their time to ease my mind and have helpful tips to treat myself at home. You've saved me a couple of trips to urgent care. The techs and other staff are great too, they remember me and my mom and address us by our names. This level of service is rare these days, they treat you like a person.
