There are two types of meningococcal vaccines that protect against meningococcal disease, a leading cause of bacterial meningitis infections around the brain and spinal cord. All 11-12 year olds should get a meningococcal conjugate vaccine and a booster dose at 16 years old. People age 16-23 years also may get a serogroup B meningococcal vaccine.

The Worst Customer Service Experience I Have Ever Had!
Would give 0 stars if I could. They are not deserving of even 1 star but I had to leave this review. My child and I arrived at this location on 10/28/26 at approximately 6:35 p.m., well before closing, seeking care for my sick child. We sat at the front desk waiting for someone from the staff to come out and acknowledge us. When I finally asked to speak with someone, the employee acted as though providing basic customer service was an inconvenience.
She eventually walked over to us with an extremely unpleasant expression on her face and informed me that there were no appointments available. When I asked whether this was a walk-in clinic, she confirmed that it was but stated that walk-ins were accepted only “when time permits.”
The lack of professionalism, courtesy, and compassion was absolutely unacceptable. I understand that appointments may be limited and that clinics have procedures to follow, but there is no excuse for making a parent feel like an inconvenience when they are simply trying to get medical care for their sick child.
What made this experience even more upsetting was the complete lack of concern or willingness to assist us. Honestly, it left me questioning whether the way we were treated had anything to do with the color of our skin. No parent should have to wonder whether their child is being denied basic courtesy or consideration because of their race. Everyone seated were not of my race!
I normally match energy, but I’m so glad I had my child with me because it was a reminder to maintain my composure and not come out of character. Some situations will definitely test your patience, and this was one of them! The level of disrespect was unbelievable. I chose to carry myself with dignity, but make no mistake, I was highly disappointed in the way we were treated.
I work in healthcare and I would never treat a patient in that manner. Customer service, professionalism, and compassion should be the bare minimum in a healthcare setting. Unfortunately, this location failed on all three counts. I left feeling disappointed, disrespected, and deeply concerned about the way patients and their families are treated. I would not recommend this location based on my experience.
To that hateful lady: Remember, none of us are getting any younger, and life has a way of humbling us all. One day, you may find yourself in a position where you need compassion, patience, and kindness from others. When that day comes, I hope you remember how you chose to treat people who came to you seeking help. Never forget that the way you treat others speaks volumes about your character. A little kindness goes a long way! 💯

My son took my grandson in without appointment because the recording says "walk in's" welcome. They are NOT welcome and older lady at the front desk was very rude. They left and sought treatment elsewhere. They need to change recording and hire help that knows how to treat the public with courtesy and respect.

I brought my 2 year old in for a strep test on 04/02/25 and can’t remember the nurses name that took her vitals but we had Mrs Bailey Hall Checking her out as well. They were both so attentive and kind and made my toddler feel completely safe . Swab was a breeze and very gentle . I know it was a simple test but finding people who can care for little ones so well is such a great thing to ease a worried parents heart!
