  I love coming here to get our eye glasses! Especially for all the customizations. Kuddos to the staff, Jess, Charles, MJ, and Curtis for being friendly as soon as we walked in and keeping our two littles busy with stickers while my husband and I picked out glasses

  I was fortunate to be able to work with Curtis McGaugey at Target’s Optical Department today in Smyrna, TN. He repaired a glasses/sunglass clip situation that I had. Curtis was very friendly and professional throughout. I highly recommend his services as an Apprentice Optician!

  I am very disappointed with my recent experience at Target Vision Center. While the eye care services themselves may be fine, the customer service at the front desk was extremely poor. The front desk representative was rude, dismissive, and lacked basic empathy when addressing my questions and concerns. Instead of trying to help or provide clear information, I felt like I was an inconvenience. A little patience, kindness, and professionalism would have gone a long way. Customer service is often the first impression patients have, and unfortunately, this experience left me feeling frustrated and undervalued. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and provides additional training on customer service and patient communication.

  I visited Target Optical in Smyrna today and had an excellent experience. A pair of my glasses had been warped and I thought I needed a special tool to tighten the arms. Charles examined them and determined he needed to apply heat using a specialized tool and now they are good as new. He was patient, walked me through how he repaired them, and let me know how to care for them in the future. I’ll definitely be back for my optical needs! His knowledge, expertise and attention to detail made my day easier.

  The way Charles Owens at Target Optical got me all the way together with the care of my eyeglasses was exactly what I needed! He took the time to explain some simple but effective best practices for keeping my glasses properly aligned, preventing them from becoming crooked or twisted, and helping them last longer. His advice was practical, easy to follow, and will definitely help me protect my investment and maintain the best possible vision. Charles mixed expert customer service with just the right amount of humor, making the visit enjoyable and brightening my day.
