Yes. Every new patient starts with a free consultation with Dr. McClaran, including digital scans of your teeth. You can request your visit online at mcclaranortho.com/free-consult or call (615) 846-3550.
What are your office hours?
We are open Monday through Thursday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM. On Fridays our phones are answered from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and patients are seen on an emergency basis only. We are closed Saturday and Sunday.
What orthodontic treatments do you offer?
We offer Invisalign clear aligners, clear braces, metal braces, early (Phase 1) treatment, palatal expanders, airway orthodontics, TMJ care, and help with orthodontic emergencies. We also offer Zoom teeth whitening and a retainer warranty program.
Do you treat adults, or only kids and teens?
We treat patients of all ages, including children, teens, and adults. It's never too late to straighten your smile, and Invisalign and clear braces are popular, discreet options for adults.
Do I need traditional impressions?
No. We use digital scans, which are quick, painless, and free of the goopy impression material many patients dislike.
Do you accept dental insurance?
Yes. We accept all PPO plans and limited DHMO plans. Medicaid is accepted based on approval for patients until age 18. We also accept health savings accounts (HSA) and flexible spending accounts (FSA). Our team is happy to verify your orthodontic benefits and file your insurance claims for you.
What payment and financing options are available?
We offer no-interest in-office payment plans, usually a down payment followed by interest-free monthly payments over the course of treatment, plus Cherry financing. Fee reductions are available for payment in full or for families with multiple children in treatment. We accept cash, checks, debit cards, and all major credit cards, and automatic monthly payments are available.

Who is Dr. McClaran?
Dr. Tiffany McClaran is a third-generation dentist and a local mom of four. She earned her dental degree from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, then completed three additional years of specialized orthodontic residency training there, along with a master's degree in dental science.
Is it true you have an office therapy dog?
Yes! Lennon is our office therapy dog, and he helps make visits a little more relaxing for patients of all ages.
