Vaccinations

Routine vaccinations are one of the easiest ways to keep yourself healthy. Our pharmacies provide annual flu vaccines, COVID-19 vaccinations, routine child and adult immunizations, catch-up vaccines and travel vaccines.

This vaccine protects against chickenpox, a disease caused by the varicella zoster virus. Adults born in 1980 or later need two doses.

This vaccine protects against coronavirus. Depending on the manufacturer, up to two doses and a booster are currently recommended.

This vaccine protects against Hepatitis A, an infection in the liver often spread by contaminated food and caused by hepatitis A virus. Adults traveling outside the country, those with chronic liver disease, and men who have sex with men need at least two doses.

This vaccine protects against Hepatitis B, a blood-borne infection of the liver caused by hepatitis B virus. Adults with chronic health conditions and healthcare workers should get three doses of this vaccine.

This vaccine protects against HPV, the major cause of cervical cancer, anal cancer, and genital warts in both women and men. Adults age 9-26 need at least two doses.

This vaccine protects against influenza, a contagious viral infection of the nose, throat, and lungs. Everyone 6 months and older should receive a yearly flu vaccine.

This vaccine protects against the respiratory disease measles, the infectious disease mumps, and the viral disease rubella. Adults born in 1957 or later need at least one dose.

There are two types of meningococcal vaccines that protect against meningococcal disease, a leading cause of bacterial meningitis infections around the brain and spinal cord. All 11-12 year olds should get a meningococcal conjugate vaccine and a booster dose at 16 years old. People age 16-23 years also may get a serogroup B meningococcal vaccine.

These vaccines protect against pneumococcal disease, caused by bacteria leading to ear and sinus infections as well as more serious lung and blood infections. If you smoke, have heart disease, asthma, chronic lung disease, or are over 65 years old, you need at least one dose.

This vaccine protects against polio, a disease that can infect a person’s spinal cord and cause paralysis. Children are recommended to get one vaccine dose at 2 months old, 4 months old, 6 through 18 months old, and 4 through 6 years old.

This vaccine protects against shingles, a painful skin rash caused by the varicella zoster virus. Adults age 50 and older need two doses.

These vaccines protect against tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis which are contagious bacterial diseases. Adults need one dose of Tdap, then a Td or Tdap booster every 10 years.

Physical & Wellness Screenings

Our pharmacies offer a number of wellness screenings to help detect and prevent certain diseases.

When you come in for a biometric screening, your provider will measure your height, weight and blood pressure. They will also test your blood glucose, and lipids (cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL, LDL) using a finger prick to obtain a blood sample. Before leaving you will have your results along with risk reduction counseling to help you achieve your optimum health. **Biometric Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.

Blood glucose measurement detects the amount of glucose (sugar) in the bloodstream. High or low blood sugars could indicate a metabolic condition, such as diabetes.

Hemoglobin A1C measures your average blood glucose (sugar) over the past 90 days. An elevated hemoglobin A1C could indicate the presence of diabetes. **Hemoglobin A1C Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.

Cholesterol screening measures the amount of cholesterol, triglycerides, high density lipoprotein (HDL) and low density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol levels in the blood. Cholesterol screenings can detect conditions such as high cholesterol or high triglycerides.

So there may be a small inconvenience like waiting longer due to covid, staffing issues, training etc., but I'm not transferring anything anywhere. The pain I'm in standing in line doesn't even measure up to the pain I'd have without my medication. Be patient. We NO LONGER live in a right now time. The ladies who I've come into contact with each and every time are still nice for the pressure they are under! Go elsewhere if you want, you still will wait, but don't make their jobs harder. Entitled people. I don't care if you've lived in Bellevue for 60 years, things change. 😕

One year later and this pharmacy is still the absolute worst in the entire area. They are slow, rude, constantly messing up medications and not caring. Avoid this pharmacy at all costs!! I have been going to this pharmacy for seven years. The last couple of years it has seriously gone downhill. I’ve had two medications in the last month that my body had a very bad reaction to and my doctor called the pharmacy told them not to give it to me anymore and gave me something different in place of them. Both times the Kroger pharmacy put those medications I had a bad reaction to on auto refill without my permission. The first time I thought it was simple a mistake and I told them to take the auto refill off and there should be a note that I had a bad reaction to that medication. A few weeks later I got an auto refill notification for that exact same medication. I had to go in person and tell them again to get it taken off. Today, I received an auto refill notification for what I thought was one of my regular medications. I went there to pick it up (and Yes I absolutely should have looked at the name of the medication before I walked out of the store) But when I got home and took it out of the bag it was a medication that I had a bad reaction to it was not supposed to be taking. It seems like they are just putting every single medication that they are allowed to, on auto refill now. I called the pharmacy to get this corrected and the girl who picked up gave me a nasty attitude and really didn’t care at all that this had happened. This pharmacy has gone downhill.

Dropped off a prescription, the tech said they were busy so I figured I'd wait and come back the next day. But when I returned, they said it still wasn't ready and would be another 10 minutes, I sat there waiting 25 minutes before I left. When I returned the following day, they took another 10 minutes to come tell me that it was going to cost 3 times what I paid at Walgreens. So I asked for my prescription back and will never return. I was in and out of CVS across the street in 10 minutes for half the price, do this instead of wasting your time at Kroger.

I had a problem with my prescription going thru, but the pharmacist did not help me by explaining to me what happened, what I needed to do, or any next steps that could be taken. She was apologetic though. Luckily, it just took a little more time and the notification system for the pharmacy let me know when it was ready. Annoyingly, it was ready as soon as I got home, but at least I have it!
