Do not recommend! They do NOT respect your time and expect you to wait an hour to and hour and a half after your scheduled appointment time before they see you.

I think 2 stars adequately sums up my experience and is slightly more generous than the 1 star I wanted to leave. If you’re thinking of ordering frames online and filling them later in the store, let me save you some time and money and advise you not to do that at LensCrafters.
A pair of frames were purchased for me as a gift from the website to be picked up at the store. It was very generous and I was grateful for the gift as I desperately need new glasses but couldn’t afford them myself. Plus, they offered to buy me maybe the nicest frames I would have ever had, and planned to enjoy them for years to come. I didn’t have my prescription at the time so we foolishly thought we could order them together, while they were here in town visiting, then I could go get my eye exam and pay for the lenses myself.
However, when I went in this morning (no wait to give them credit for the one positive about the experience), the sales associate/optician that assisted me was very blasé, though not rude, and priced the lenses at $370 (polycarbonate & AR). I was experiencing sticker shock and they clarified that the lenses special only applies when you buy the frames in store. I asked if there was anyway I could exchange for a less expensive pair and apply the difference to the lenses or return for a store credit or digital gift card to repurchase both at the same time to get a better price overall and afford the lenses I needed and was told I could not.
I understand that they were following policy. They didn’t seem to care at all that I couldn’t justify almost $1000 total for a pair of glasses due to the divide between online/in-store processes and not understanding how big of a mistake it was to have them purchased this way as a gift.
They didn’t even offer to check in with a manager or seem like they cared at all whether I walked out of there with glasses today. I ultimately returned the frames, which will go back on my family member’s credit card, and we’ll find a way to reorder from a different store. It just felt like I was an inconvenience and not even worth them making the smallest effort to save a sale, so why bother letting them keep any of our money and filling the prescription elsewhere.
Me, my husband, and kid all wear glasses so we’ll take our business somewhere else with more transparent policies and personable staff.
Shoutout to Angel Eyes Vision next door who I will be leaving a much better review for. It was convenient to get my eye exam done there, because I of course forgot my paperwork this morning that had my prescription on it. They were all very nice and even with a longer wait time due to training, it was an overall much more pleasant experience than the one I had at LensCrafters.

I got the chance to meet Michael and he assisted me in my purchase. I was able to get Ray Ban Meta Wayfarer Gen 2 glasses and leave with them the same day. My lenses were in stock. I have been using LenCrafters for a few years now, and I was very pleased with the service that I received today. Michael was very pleasant to deal with and provided me with the information I needed. God bless you and your family Michael. May God protect your son the Marine. Thank him for fighting for those who cannot fight for themselves. He is a hero!

Piper was absolutely amazing! She is one of the nicest people I’ve ever met. From the moment I walked in, she was welcoming, kind, patient, and genuinely cared about helping me find the right eyewear. She took the time to answer all of my questions and made the entire experience enjoyable and stress-free. Outstanding customer service like hers is rare, and she is a true asset to the team. Thank you, Piper, for making my visit such a positive one!
Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
