  EVERY time I call this pharmacy to get my medicine I go through this drawn out process to actually get it filled. Two weeks ago I was told there was nothing there for me so I hung up and called my doctor office and told them there was no prescription At kroger for me and she stated that it had been sent over several days prior so I called back to kroger, and was told oh yes, there is something for you. It’s on your profile, but it hasn’t been filled. Maybe I don’t know the exact verbiage that you’re supposed to use because I’m not a pharmacist because I don’t work at Kroger. But what I have to go through is absolutely ridiculous to get my prescription filled. There’s a gentleman that works there who has worked there for a very long time who acts like a gatekeeper and has zero interest in providing any kind of customer service whatsoever and treats me like I’m nothing but a drug addict every time I call. If it wasn’t for the complete inconvenience of changing everything because this is close to my house I would cause I’m disgusted every time I have to call here or go here. There are some ladies that work there that are absolutely wonderful and very sweet. It’s the guy that works there with such a jerk.

  I called the Kirby Kroger pharmacy asking if they would be able to help me at 7:00pm (which is when my GPS showed that I would arrive), and I asked because I had found out that they closed a 7:00. A woman answered the phone, and I gently explained how it was urgent that I got my medicine tonight because I am extremely ill with both the flu and strep viruses, and all I said was "I understand that you close at 7:00 sharp, but if you wouldn't mind making an exception for me and helping me at 7:00-7:01 when I arrive, I would appreciate it so much." I wasn't being rude or belligerent in any way whatsoever. Then, the woman rudely interrupted me and snapped back, telling me they do not make any exceptions and that unless I can show up before 7:00, they will not help me. It isn't that she said no (because I was fully prepared to just go home and wait until the morning), but rather it's the way she was speaking to me. She practically snapped at me! And then she bluntly said, "If you want to speak with my pharmacy manager, I can let her know—but she is on the phone so you will have to wait." I hesitated and responded, "No it's okay, I can just come early in the morning I gue-", and then she just rudely hung up when I was mid-sentence! This is the first review that I've ever left, which is really saying something if I feel the need to leave one for this issue... but that woman's customer service skills were awful. Complete lack of tact or remorse.
