- BWBeena WhiteAug 27, 20265.0After years and years of terribly disappointing experiences at Walgreens throughout Memphis, I decided to try Kroger based on recommendations from a few friends. My experience could not be more different, and I should've switched years ago. The most startling difference is that they actually answer the phone. They answer the phone. While I've never heard Kroger's pharmacy line hold music, I don't think my brain will ever be free of the two Walgreens soundtracks (funeral home pop and 80s outer space techno). The staff actually seem like they don't mind doing their jobs. The pharmacists are kind, upbeat and – dare I say pleasant – when answering questions. They don't mind double-checking. They aren't rude, churlish or insubordinate. While I was writing this review, one of the Kroger pharmacists called me. They called me to clarify refill information about one of my meds. They called me. Wow. I can't speak to the proficiency of pharmacists at other Kroger locations. But I give the Poplar Plaza staff an A+, thumbs up, blue ribbon, 5 stars and all the gold medals.
- MMMonica McKinneyJul 1, 20263.0I went in to pick up a new prescription n wanted to talk to a pharmacist...a gentleman came to the windows n I asked about how often to take the shot (Repatha) every 14 days or less..he said direction was on the prescription..hoping g he would elaborate since I never had it before he didn't..he was little to no help...I guess I'll go to another kroger pharmacist to get more info....sad the people u hire.
