I highly recommend LensCrafters in Kingsport TN. The entire office staff from check in to the doctors to checkout are very friendly. The exam uses a system of machines that is painless, fast and accurate. I trust them and you can too.

Dr. Morgan was wonderful, very patient with me, explaining the issues I've had with my other prescription. Veronica, the store manager is so sweet and spent a long time working with me to get the right frame. All the staff were very professional .

!!!!!BEWARE OF HIDDEN CHARGES!!!! This store is using unethical selling practices and you should use extreme caution with them.
Let me start by saying I have been in retail the majority of my life, I understand commission based jobs and upselling items. My husband and I went to the store on E. Stone Drive and an associate helped us, I do not rememer her name. She was tall, thin with gray hair. She directed my husband to the ray ban as the mens section, and I went to look for mine. I found mine and he struggled to find his. only after 30+ mins of struggling to find glasses she told him about another mens section, but they were cheap and flimsy so he settled for a rayban pair. She tried to upsell both of us with the lenses (expected) but we both went with the cheapest copay (we didnt get our exam here). my total was 86, his copay was 10 and he got protection 37 ish. so together about 125 ish. We get to the register and it is over 180 with tax!! So i questioned the billing and she kept talking about the protection. i had to insist that she pull up itemized charges for his bill to then find out there was an extra $50 charge for rayban to put lenses in them (not sunglasses just normal lenses) she said this was just the charge because they are raybans. My husband cancelled his order but insisted I get my glasses.
I called back today and spoke to the manager, explained the unethical practice of adding hidden charges and not being upfront about certain brands hgaving theior own fees, and yet directing people to specifically those glasses without telling them about other options....and she just said i have cancelled your order thanks for letting me know. Clearly this store is comfortable, and supportive of these scammy, surprise billing practices that take advantage of people.
PLEASE CHECK YOUR BILL BEFORE YOU BUY!!!

I came in as a walk in with some glasses I had purchased about 3 years ago that were in desperate need of some TLC and maintenance. Tiffany took care of it and tightened up the frames, gave the lenses an excellent clean, and replaced the nose pieces. Really excellent service.
Taking your child to an optometrist for an eye exam is the best way to learn if your child needs glasses. Many children who need glasses aren’t aware that they do. Signs of vision problems in children include sitting too close to the television, squinting, sensitivity to light, difficulty with eye-hand coordination, and avoiding visual activities like reading and drawing. To see if your child needs glasses, schedule your child’s eye exam today.
Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients). Schedule your eye exam today to have all of your questions about contact lenses answered.
What is the difference between an eye exam and a vision screening?
A comprehensive eye exam is administered by an optometrist and can detect not only vision problems but problems with eye health and general health as well. A vision screening is typically performed by a general medical practitioner such as a pediatrician or a nurse. While a vision screening can help identify vision issues, it can miss many important issues that a comprehensive eye exam can identify. This is why everyone is encouraged to get annual eye exams. Schedule your eye exam today!
Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure can be detected in early stages through an eye exam, and this can result in early treatment. Schedule your annual eye exam today.
What should I bring to my eye exam?
You should bring your vision insurance and medical insurance information to your eye exam. If you currently wear any prescription lenses, bring your eyeglasses, sunglasses, and contact lenses. You should also bring any and all questions you may have. Contact your optometrist if you have specific questions about any additional items you think you may need to bring to your eye exam.
