  Where do I start. I had to get 24-hour care for my elderly mother asap because my dad had an accident that placed him in the hospital where he eventually passed away. I was between a rock and a hard spot, so to speak. I live 2 and half hours away and couldn't be with her 24/7. The caregivers shown on the website wearing green shirts and kahaki's is not an accurate example. The caregiver wore regular street clothes. The reason I mentioned this is because they need to look professional. The website is misleading on this. One girl that came was so big her pants didn't fit and was showing her butt crack everytime she was there. Several of the caregivers snooped around the house. One called me to ask if she could have a cooler that was in my mother's basement. Why was she in the basement? My mom was only in the upstairs. Also, I found out through my mother's neighbor ( who would check on my mom) that a caregiver asked what my mother was going to do with her jewelry/ jewelry boxes when she moved to assisted living. This same caregiver would continue to ask me what I was going to do with my deceased fathers car! Because she said she wanted first dibs on it!! Said she was just throwing her hat in on wanting his car!! We also would leave instructions from time to time concerning my mother. For example, she fell and broke her foot and the boot was supposed to stay on 24/7 unless she was bathing. These caregivers were letting her remove it and sleep without it on. Very specifically stated to leave it on. I spoke numerous times to staff around these issues. I got a few sorry's and they would talk to the caregiver. But basically, I was told that they are professional and respectful. I dont think that professional and respectful should be used to describe someone snooping and rummaging throughout my mother's home. She is 91 years old and it was disrespectful to her to not treat her and her home with the utmost respect. She has some dementia and sleeps a lot so I feel that they took advantage of her condition. Beware of this company and have cameras in your house. Would not recommend them.
