  I like this store for grocery shopping, but it sucks for lunchtime. I go to lunch at 11:30am every day and when I choose Kroger, the hot ready foods are more often than not ready to serve. The rotisserie case has all fried or whole chickens, that's if it's filled. The selection in the ready to go cold case is often more fried food. Worked in a grocery store many years ago and the deli was ready to serve up hot foods by 10:30 to catch the early lunch crowd

  This pharmacy goes above and beyond I had a prescription that was at Ballard pharmacy and I had a problem with it we were changing insurances. The pharmacist again went above and beyond they called the insurance company and got something in place so we wouldn't have to pay an enormous fee until we got our regular prescription card. Ballard could have cared less.

  Although it isn't one of the pharmacies with 24 hour service, or long hours (the Phaacy closes at 8:00 p.m. weekdays and at 6:00 p.m. on the weekends, I drive 7 miles to get all my prescriptions filled at this Kroger Pharmacy. I lived only a half mile from it for 7 years (right next to ETSU), but 5 years ago I moved to North Johnson City and I have continued to drive 7 mile to and 7 miles back because of the AMAZING Pharmacists and Pharmacy Tech. In particular, the pharmacist Carmen (male) is so easy to deal with, if I don't know something about a new med, he will spend as much time with me as it takes for me to grasp the pharmaceutical company jargon. Thus is true when I'm in the store AND when I call him from home. He is proficient, efficient, knowledgeable - and he ALWAYS has a smile on his face and a kind word to say. Carmen, Matt (the Head Pharmacist) make driving 14 miles well worth the time. By the way, there is a Kroger Pharmacy less than a mile from my current residence. I utilized their services, but had all my scripts transferred back to the University Kroger Pharmacy. It was a great decision for someone like me that takes several medications each day. This is a pharmacy that delivers in providing medications, information - and it doesn't hurt that almost everyone calls me by my name - very personalized service. Such service is very uncommon. I like it!
