  In the experience I've had, one of the assistants need to learn a little professionalism. In no way is it acceptable to tell a 15 year old who is having an anxiety attack to "act like an adult". The dentist was right in the middle of the conversation and agreed it was inappropriate, but in the next moment decided to side with her assistant and has now deemed that my child will no longer be eligible to be seen in her practice. Truly disappointed in this decision as my daughter actually liked the dentist, Chelsea.

  We had an outstanding experience at Chew Chew Pediatric Dentistry, and I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Chelsea and her team. Dr. Chelsea takes the time to truly listen to both children and parents. She patiently answers questions, offers practical ideas and brushing aids, and develops individualized strategies to help children be successful with their oral hygiene. She never makes families feel rushed. What impressed me most was how she interacted with young children and children with disabilities. She creates such a positive, encouraging environment that helps children feel safe and successful. A pediatric dentist is often a child's very first experience with dental care, and those early experiences can shape their feelings about dentists for the rest of their lives. Dr. Chelsea clearly understands the importance of that responsibility and handles it with remarkable compassion and skill. The staff is equally impressive. There is a genuine sense of teamwork, respect, and positive energy throughout the office. Everyone works together like a well-oiled machine while still making each family feel welcomed and valued. You can tell they enjoy working together and take pride in what they do. If you're looking for a pediatric dental office that prioritizes quality care, patience, education, and positive experiences for children, Chew Chew Pediatric Dentistry is absolutely worth it. We left feeling informed, supported, and grateful to have found such an exceptional team.
