The exam itself was comprehensive. Afterward, I went to the retail side which was fully staffed, and I didn't have to wait. Great to far! I planned to buy 4 pair of new glasses in different colors/tints, all with the highest quality progressive, transitioning, and gradient lenses due to being light-sensitive, hoping to keep the cost under $1,000 total. But the person I met with pulled 6 loose, scratched lenses out of a drawer and said, "These are what we offer, and we don't make gradient lenses (dark at top fading to light at bottom.) I found that odd and asked whether I could get the lenses in lighter or darker shades than those he'd pulled out. "That’s all we have." I decided I'd need to go elsewhere to have them filled. Very disappointing.

So I paid $125 and then they were trying to charge me another $99-$135 for a lens fitting fee and then another $135 for the contacts . So almost $400 just to get an exam and get fitted for contact lenses . Brooke who I spoke to has no customer service skills . They refused to give me my son’s contact lens prescription . I’ve never had any eyeglass place try to charge me almost $400 for a contact lens exam . LensCrafters will try to rob you blind if you let them. Dr Frye is great but the lady at the desk not so much
