We had a great experience picking out my son’s first pair of glasses. Ethan helped us quickly identify the style he liked and found the right fit. It was so fast and stress free, which I appreciate given that my son was not happy about having to get glasses in the first place. We found his perfect pair and for a lot less than I expected! Thank you!
TLDR: If the office staff at Warby Parker really doesn't understand how to read an eye perscription than they shouldn't be selling glasses.
So, when i ordered the glasses, I had a terrific experience. When I received the glasses, they weren't correct, which is ok. This happens. I went to my eye doctor (whom I know personally) and he found that the Optical Center was 3 mm off and probably my prescription changed a small bit.
I brought my glasses back into Warby Parker, expecting the same experience as the first time. Instead they argued with me about the change in Axis. Because they said it was a HUGE change. I said, that prescription is correct. Whatever is on here is correct. We went back and forth and she started to argue, and I called my doc and he said the perscription is correct. The woman still argued. She talked to the doc, he told her it was correct. She still argued.
I know a bit about the numbers on a prescription so I know that going from 95 to 170 with a .25 cylinder is a VERY small change. There was no huge change, she was just wrong. Either she didn't know that the cylinder mattered or wanted to be right so bad that she couldn't bare to say i was correct.
So, we go back inside and she continues to explain why she is right. I said to her, "I told you what was on the paper was correct, was I right?" She said "no" because i didn't tell her that the other changes have been made. (Which I did, but she already assumed i was wrong.) Now to be clear:
1. I told her immediately that there were other minor changes.
2. I told her, everything is on the prescription and is correct.
3. The doc told her axis change was not a HUGE change, it is very minor.
4. I didn't engage in a conversation on what was a huge change and what is a minor change, because she was never going to listen.
There was another issue with replacement glasses that should not have been ordered. I didn't order them. This wasn't there fault but the store basically told me they wouldn't do anything, so i called the 800 number and they resolved it in 10 minutes (and got everything reordered.)
What i don't understand is why it was so important that i see things her way (the wrong way) that she didn't just reorder them and call the doctor after I left. I didn't even need to be a part of that discussion.
Oh, she also called me angry to my eye doc. He knows me well and thought it was funny. I wasn't angry, I was dismissive, because i was over it. I even said, I just wanted to return everything. I can't convince someone that I am right that doesn't want to hear it. Even after she realizes that the change was tiny, I still think she will think she is right. Lord help me.
My advice: Be aware that they don't really know what your prescription says.

I had a great experience today - Dasia and Randall were extremely helpful in narrowing down which frame (there were so many good ones to choose from). And I was able to bundle and get a great discount on contacts as well! Great experience all around.

Randall, Ethan and Dasia were so friendly and helpful! I’m terrible at making decisions, but their feedback on why certain frames worked better than others for me made it easy to narrow it down to just two frames—who knows, I may even come back for the second! It’s so nice to be able to see all the options in store instead of having to order samples online or go out of town to the nearest store. Excited to have a brick and mortar Warby Parker in the area!

Exceptional Customer Service from Felicia Peay!
I had an outstanding experience during my recent visit to Warby Parker in Germantown, and I want to give special recognition to Felicia Peay for her exceptional customer service.
Felicia was professional, knowledgeable, welcoming, and genuinely committed to making sure I had the best experience possible. She took the time to thoroughly explain the services available, answered all of my questions, and provided excellent support and recommendations throughout the entire process.
What impressed me most was her attention to detail when helping me determine the correct frame size and style for my face. She offered thoughtful recommendations without being pushy and made the process of selecting the right frames both easy and enjoyable.
Everyone I encountered at the Germantown location was professional, knowledgeable, and welcoming, but Felicia truly stood out. Her level of customer care is exactly what exceptional service should look like.
Thank you, Felicia, for making my visit such a great experience! Based on the service I received, Warby Parker has definitely earned my loyalty — moving forward, there’s only one choice for me!
