Vaccinations

Routine vaccinations are one of the easiest ways to keep yourself healthy. Our pharmacies provide annual flu vaccines, COVID-19 vaccinations, routine child and adult immunizations, catch-up vaccines and travel vaccines.

This vaccine protects against chickenpox, a disease caused by the varicella zoster virus. Adults born in 1980 or later need two doses.

This vaccine protects against coronavirus. Depending on the manufacturer, up to two doses and a booster are currently recommended.

This vaccine protects against Hepatitis A, an infection in the liver often spread by contaminated food and caused by hepatitis A virus. Adults traveling outside the country, those with chronic liver disease, and men who have sex with men need at least two doses.

This vaccine protects against Hepatitis B, a blood-borne infection of the liver caused by hepatitis B virus. Adults with chronic health conditions and healthcare workers should get three doses of this vaccine.

This vaccine protects against HPV, the major cause of cervical cancer, anal cancer, and genital warts in both women and men. Adults age 9-26 need at least two doses.

This vaccine protects against influenza, a contagious viral infection of the nose, throat, and lungs. Everyone 6 months and older should receive a yearly flu vaccine.

This vaccine protects against the respiratory disease measles, the infectious disease mumps, and the viral disease rubella. Adults born in 1957 or later need at least one dose.

There are two types of meningococcal vaccines that protect against meningococcal disease, a leading cause of bacterial meningitis infections around the brain and spinal cord. All 11-12 year olds should get a meningococcal conjugate vaccine and a booster dose at 16 years old. People age 16-23 years also may get a serogroup B meningococcal vaccine.

These vaccines protect against pneumococcal disease, caused by bacteria leading to ear and sinus infections as well as more serious lung and blood infections. If you smoke, have heart disease, asthma, chronic lung disease, or are over 65 years old, you need at least one dose.

This vaccine protects against polio, a disease that can infect a person’s spinal cord and cause paralysis. Children are recommended to get one vaccine dose at 2 months old, 4 months old, 6 through 18 months old, and 4 through 6 years old.

This vaccine protects against shingles, a painful skin rash caused by the varicella zoster virus. Adults age 50 and older need two doses.

These vaccines protect against tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis which are contagious bacterial diseases. Adults need one dose of Tdap, then a Td or Tdap booster every 10 years.

Physical & Wellness Screenings

Our pharmacies offer a number of wellness screenings to help detect and prevent certain diseases.

When you come in for a biometric screening, your provider will measure your height, weight and blood pressure. They will also test your blood glucose, and lipids (cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL, LDL) using a finger prick to obtain a blood sample. Before leaving you will have your results along with risk reduction counseling to help you achieve your optimum health. **Biometric Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.

Blood glucose measurement detects the amount of glucose (sugar) in the bloodstream. High or low blood sugars could indicate a metabolic condition, such as diabetes.

Hemoglobin A1C measures your average blood glucose (sugar) over the past 90 days. An elevated hemoglobin A1C could indicate the presence of diabetes. **Hemoglobin A1C Screenings are available at select pharmacies only.

Cholesterol screening measures the amount of cholesterol, triglycerides, high density lipoprotein (HDL) and low density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol levels in the blood. Cholesterol screenings can detect conditions such as high cholesterol or high triglycerides.

Wish it would allow 0 stars. It's always something but I kept trying because at least they are open late, or so I thought. Went in Friday a solid 30 minutes before close and they wouldn't fill my Rx, told me they would have it ready Saturday morning. Couldn't pick it up Saturday. Called Sunday and asked about getting it transferred to the Cookeville store without getting any of my information they told me just to go to the other store and they could transfer it no problem. Went to the Cookeville store and they said the system wouldn't allow them to transfer it or fill it. I got prescribed a new medication Monday afternoon and it was sent in along with my child's medication. Call Tuesday morning to Crossville and they said they didn't have it in stock, it would be hours before they could fill it. Can't count the number of times I've gone to pick up and they hadn't run it through my insurance and I had to ask them to run it through my insurance, half of those times it required pre authorization that they never bothered to get so I ended up having to wait days more to get it filled. Bet if I would've paid they would've run it through insurance the moment I left and pocketed the cash. Always something shady with them.

Don’t waste your time. They close before they’re posted hours, pulled in at 7:40pm tonight and open lane light was on but a closed sign was on the window, no one ever answers the phone, workers are rude, one time I sat in the drive thru for 30 mins with only 2 cars infront of me and then was told they needed 5 more mins to fill my script even though I got the text that it was ready, they asked me to pull around and get back in line for it when there was already 6-7 more cars behind me and my toddler was irate and screaming at that point. I told her no, that I had waited long enough and that I had gotten the text that it was ready well over an hour ago and then she had the script ready in less than a minute. Transferring my whole family of 5 scripts elsewhere, it’s not worth the hassle.
