The Dr at Pearle Vision, Collierville, TN (forgot his name, but it was not Dr. McCarty) was very proficient in his exam, and knew much about cataracts. I am pleased with my visit and his advice.

Went to get an eye exam and new prescription sunglasses. I realized after I left the store, they gave me no paperwork no receipt or anything. I let it go with no reason to think there was a problem at first. After receiving my prescription Oakley sunglasses several weeks later, I realized that they sold me Oakley frame off the shelf, which they probably got for free and put generic lenses in them instead of the Oakley lenses. I sent them an email about it once I received my receipt from them and looked at it. They did charge me full price for Oakley frame and lenses. I never agreed to generic lenses. I am now disputing the charge with my bank and the lady who runs the store said that they would be giving me a refund. Just imagine how many people they’ve done this to that don’t realize it.

I used them for about 3 yrs. MANY times I needed my glasses adjusted, they said “try for a couple of weeks” and see how they do. Well, if you “try” something for 2-3 weeks you kind of get used to the problem; when I was nearby, I returned and IF they were open (shortened hours) to try again. They would take them to the back, bring them out, and repeat “try for a while”. I became so frustrated with their lack of efficiency and Tina’s (the owner) lack of customer service, I returned to my previous Optometrist (in MEMPHIS 😱) He told me the reason I kept having trouble was that the SAME prescription was put into BOTH of my lenses!! I have progressive lens and my Rx is and NEVER has been the same in both eyes. I was so mad that for over a year my eyes had worsened due to not being propery treated and NEITHER HAD I.But in addition to that screwup, the best & only decent person that was employed there (Lisa) quit & moved, they have had a lot of turnover (hmmm.. wonder why?). The owner’s (Tina’s) son is the person in the back who works with the glasses. He is good & he is really nice, but shouldn’t the lens have been checked? Oh… and don’t try calling… they never answer. Either they are closed or can’t keep employees to help. But the the donut shop nextdoor is good if you go in the morning! 🤷🏼‍♀️

Honestly one of the best optometrist offices I've been to. I've worn contacts since I was 10 and have lived in 5+ different cities, so I've been to many different optometrists. Easy to schedule an appointment online and they are extremely kind and helpful. There was an imperfection with the glasses that I had ordered(not their fault, they don't make the lenses), and it was corrected immediately. Had my new pair in 48 hours. Have gone there 3 times now for yearly exams and haven't had any issues.
