  I am visiting my son in Rapid City from Missouri. My receiver wire broke and I called the office here. Scott was able to get me in this afternoon and fixed me up with a new one. He even gave me his card in case I have more trouble. Thanks so much!

  We bought our hearing aids from him a few years ago and he still makes sure that they are working well. He also make sure we understand how to work them.

  “Above & Beyond Customer Care with Audiology Knowledge to Match!” This review is as much about Scott Walthers and the warm, professional way he is running his Miracle-Ear of Rapid City clinic, as it is about the quality of their hearing aids. As a daughter who deeply cares about my aging parents receiving the best health care available, I’ve taken on the role of patient advocate for them. After getting lack luster results with inexpensive hearing aids, I was able to convince my father to give Miracle-Ear a try, and we haven’t looked back since. Then, when my mother required hearing aids 2 years later, we didn’t hesitate to go once again to Scott -- and to Miracle-Ear. Even the appointment scheduling process (with Mark) stands out in my mind. Mark answers the initial calls into the clinic, and you are greeted with a warm and smiling voice. (He even went above and beyond to get our hearing test scheduled based on our tight timeframes). From the moment we walked into the clinic, we were greeted warmly again by Mark and Scott, which put everyone at ease. As he had done with my father prior, Scott conducted a thorough and sophisticated hearing test on my mother, took the time to review the results openly with all 3 of us, reviewed the various options to help with her unique hearing needs, and patiently answered all our questions. Throughout the entire process, I was once again taken by Scott’s affable character and his obvious technical knowledge of the testing and analytics process to make a personalized recommendation for the best hearing instrument for my parents. It’s important for my parents to feel they have a provider who knows their history and cares about them as people and doesn’t rush them through. Scott provides that level of service – and the fact that he cares about “people first” is obvious. Which leads to some other key items that set Miracle-Ear apart in my mind... First, their cutting edge technology enables them to program their hearing aids to best suit an individual’s unique hearing needs (vs. a one-size-fits all approach). Second, they offer ongoing support and aftercare for their customers. Not only do they make sure you understand how to use and maintain your hearing aids from the moment you receive them, but they remain readily available for any adjustments or concerns throughout the life of your hearing aid. If you are looking for good “old fashioned” attentive and quality care, top-notch hearing solutions and outstanding customer service, I whole-heartedly recommend this clinic as the one to choose when you are making an investment in your hearing!
