  We drove two hours, and decided that since they do walk-ins and they accept our kind of insurance, as it says online. We were greeted terribly, and we asked the lady if she could try to get us in a week maybe a couple of weeks later, and was told they had no openings. When we got there it was 40 minutes in when they opened, and it was packed. I traveled all this way for no reason. I thought this was going to be a cheap and fast way for my daughters and son to get their eye appointments checked out for the new school year. They also don’t use VSP insurance through blue cross blue shield; even though on the website says so. This is a total scam.

  I want to formally recognize Tracy and Kelly for providing among the best compassionate, extraordinary customer service I've ever experienced. On Thursday, July 2nd, I visited the Rapid City, South Dakota store to get new glasses, hoping to fix a vision issue I thought an online retailer had botched. When Tracy delivered my new glasses quickly and professionally, I realized the prescription wasn't the issue—something was structurally wrong with my left eye. Having had RK surgery in 1992 and cataracts in 2023, I became incredibly distraught and anxious about my eyesight. Tracy immediately stepped in, walking me next door to Dr. Varland’s office and helping secure an emergency walk-in observation. Throughout the stressful wait, Kelly repeatedly came over to check on me, offering immense empathy and emotional support. Both staff monitored my outcome and made sure I felt safe and cared for. He asked for my phone number so he could check up with me, something I usually wouldn't give out, but I have a keen sense of peoples integrity and believed with confidence that he would be respectful, his phone call was much appreciated and welcomed. This went far beyond standard retail service; it was profound human kindness. I don't know what my vision outcome will be, but Tracy and Kelly were my lifeline that day. You have two exemplary employees who represent the very best of your company.

  Ryan was extremely helpful and kind! I’ve been getting my glasses through eye mart for the last 4 years. I can’t imagine going anywhere else. 🤞🏽

  Been in here for a half hour, no one has said anything to us. Another group of people came in with warm welcomes. What is the difference? Terrible customer service.
