- CBCristal BushAug 22, 20261.0I had never had a virtual visit before with An optometrist. And due to the doctor not being able to see me in person I was unable to get my contacts prescription. She said I had to be referred to a in person doctor which means I now have to pay LensCrafters and go pay another doctor to get my contact prescription. I was not informed of this beforehand that there may be a chance that I would not be able to get contacts. Had I been given that information then I would have not gone through with the exam. The ladies in the office were very nice but I feel like I got scammed because I gave them all of my info up front about my medical issues and they did not once say that there maybe issues with giving me what I needed. I will never use a virtual Dr again.
