Dr. Sexton is super professional and nice and takes the time to explain the answers to your questions as if it’s the first time even though she’s done it a million times. Highly recommend!

Dr. Kirby was outstanding! She listened to my vision concerns and found a solution that allows me to function with both near and far sight without glasses-which is imperative for my work! I highly recommend her!

I am so disappointed to have to write this review. I wish I could give you zero stars. We have seen Dr. Normoyle for several years with no complaints. Straight forward exams and answered questions. We scheduled a contact lens fitting for our daughter at 5:15pm July 30th 2026. First, the call to confirm the appointment revealed the staff were disorganized and kept asking me questions they should have answers to. Does my daughter have a contact lens prescription? I attend your practice, does she? Did your daughter order the lenses prescribed for her glasses? I also purchased her glasses from your practice so do you not have record of this? We attended as scheduled. In introduction I had made it clear my 14 year old had attempted this previous and had anxiety about this appt being successful. The first comment of Dr. Normoyle was that we were right on the cusp of the timeline for the prescription (90 days?) and that my daughter needed to make this happen or it would "cost her mother more money." I should have shut this down then but in an attempt to remain professional we stayed. The assistant assured us they have waited hours for success. My daughter focused and listened to all instructions. After roughly 30 minutes Dr. Normoyle came out and stated if she did not have success after her next appt concluded that she would have to reschedule. My daughter started to panic but we assured her she was okay. Roughly 15 min later the doctor came out and said she had 2 min to complete the task or we would have to reschedule. I told my family we would find a new practice and to discontinue attempts. After waiting for the assistant to reprint prescriptions we leave approx 6:10pm. I would like to note the practice does not close until 7pm on Thursdays per their own schedule. Complete unprofessionalism and to attempt emotional harm on my child you deserve loss of license and to be fired. I'm overwhelmed with disappointment in your behavior and you should be ashamed.

Why should I get an eye exam?
An annual eye exam involves more than just updating your glasses or contact prescription. A comprehensive eye exam can also detect eye health issues as well as general health problems. Is a contact lens exam different than an eye exam?
A normal, comprehensive eye exam will allow your optometrist to determine if your eyes are healthy enough to wear contact lenses. During your contact lens fitting, detailed measurements of your eyes will be taken to determine the right contact lenses for you. There is an additional fee for a contact lens fitting and evaluation for all contact lens patients (both new and established patients).
