Their privately-owned Endoscopy Center is the only one on the Grand Strand recognized by the ASGE as a Center of Excellence as well as being AAAHC Accredited. Strand GI follows the strictest of clinical standards as they provide the most advanced therapeutic endoscopic techniques in the area.

She took the time to review my medical history before speaking with me and listened to me as I gave more information. Then suggested a procedure and explained it. The supporting staff was also courteous and pleasant from beginning to end. I highly recommend this Dr and this practice.
- WRWilliam RoseOct 5, 20261.0I was unfortunately denied a colonoscopy at this facility because I use overnight oxygen with my CPAP machine—even though this was not a problem on 2 previous occasions at this location. While I understand safety protocols can change, it was a very frustrating experience to be turned away at the last minute after going through the entire preparation process. Patients with respiratory support needs should be aware of these strict clinic policies ahead of time." Perhaps the person who spent 10 minutes with me on the phone 3 days ago should have asked the question. Does Strand GI offer reimbursment for the prep supplies when this was their error? Not to mention the agony of the prep process and the 30 miles of driving? The staff was friendly and courteous in the assembley line type of operation. I was on the gurney in the gown about to have the IV inserted prior to the RN going to seek clarification....then I was sent away and told "someone will call you to schedule your colonoscopy at the hospital" ASK THE QUESTIONS as they seem to miss things in this fast pace establishment.
