  Today after a rough shift without my glasses i booked it to eyemart express and arrived around 4:27 roughly 33 minutes before they closed, Rachel an Tracy still made sure i got my glasses even with my unique prescription. and i’m incredibly grateful. Bring your business to eyemart express and ask for Tracy or Rachel !!

  Had the best experience today! Thank you to Trish and Linda for the amazing service and getting my husband new glasses after the ocean swept them away. It was greatly appreciated. Not only were they efficient but they alerted quick and soooo nice!

  Wear glasses? Don’t mess around - Eye Dr is Neil Kawaguchi at Vaught Eye in Conway and to buy glasses, Jalicia at Eyemart Express in Surfside/Myrtle Beach. I’m 65 and have worn glasses for distance since my 20’s. Astigmatism nothing more. Minor changes in strength over the years. Suddenly, 5 yrs ago things changed. I was fine reading close and arm’s length but 10 ft or more it was double. Saw Heather Vaught, an OD. Explained my double vision problems she wrote it off to aging, nothing we could do. Next year, saw Dr Singleton, OD at Singleton Eye. Same story, no answer to my problem. Next year got my eyes checked in Savannah at Lenscrafters, saw an OD. Same story. By now, I can’t drive (which I rarely do) without covering one eye. Go back to Vaught and see Dr Kawaguchi, OD who asks if I’ve ever been checked for Prism. Never heard of it - apparently it’s one of those boxes on the Rx. One eye has lost strength and crosses inward. Finally someone diagnosed my problem and I have a proper Rx to fix it. Bought glasses last year at Pearl Vision (old Rx) and the progressive location was wrong, had them re-do it, STILL wrong (never had a problem w arms length, can’t read my laptop for work). After I got this new Rx I went to Eyemart and saw Jalicia. Her brother is an optometrist and she learned a lot working for him when she first started. She said my Prism correction is very strong - had they corrected it years ago it could have prevented further weakening. AND, looking at the glasses I bought at Pearl Vision she can see it’s not been placed in the proper spot and is uneven - both eyes have different centers. She knew a LOT about eyes needing Prism corrections. Furthermore, she worked to get me the best deals, with and without my insurance. I got a new pair of rimless, new lenses for last year’s pair I bought at Pearl Vision and a FREE single vision pair. Doc Kawaguchi in Conway and Jalicia at Eyemart. I will never go anywhere else.
