Take the First Step to Better Looking Legs With today’s vein treatment options, you don’t need invasive surgery and long recovery times to achieve visible results. The most advanced vein treatments use local anesthetics and require minimal downtime. In most cases, you can walk right out of our office after your treatment. We perform a complete evaluation and recommend treatments to help your legs look smooth, clear and healthy. And we make sure you understand all the details of your treatment and answer any questions. Spider Vein Treatments: Be Confident in Your Skin! We have the latest treatments to reduce or eliminate the discoloration caused by spider veins. We provide a personalized care plan that considers your individual needs and desires. Uncover your options for spider vein treatment.

At Espinoza Vein Institute, we do much more than treat veins. Your whole health is our focus! Problems with your veins may be simply aesthetic, but they could be a sign of a larger health issue. We take the time to get an accurate diagnosis so we can offer comprehensive, considerate care that focuses on treating your health in general, not just specific symptoms. Uncovering the Root Cause of Your Vein Condition To determine the root cause of your condition, we conduct comprehensive evaluation and diagnostics for vein conditions, including spider veins, varicose veins and other types of vein disease and conditions. This includes: An in-depth record of your individual concerns, health history and current lifestyle. A thorough physical exam by a medical doctor. Use of ultrasound imaging to make a diagnosis and develop a treatment plan. Developing a plan to prevent further vein concerns and keeping your veins and the rest of you healthy. Accredited Vascular Lab Diagnostic ultrasounds are the gold standard for diagnosing vein conditions. Ultrasound technology lets us see your blood vessels and measure your blood flow without any invasive testing. They are also used to look for signs of potentially serious vein disease, such as blood clots, deep vein thrombosis, blood flow insufficiency or narrowed blood vessels. At Espinoza Vein Institute, we have an on-site vascular lab accredited by the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC). Accredited labs undergo a thorough evaluation of practices, equipment and personnel to show they meet or exceed the IAC’s strict standards. IAC accreditation ensures you get accurate and consistent test results from a provider who uses state-of-the-art equipment and follows strict protocols and safety standards. Onsite Testing and Vascular Treatment We perform ultrasound tests, manage your care and deliver exceptional treatment — all in one convenient location. At our IAC accredited lab: Your entire treatment plan, including procedures, is conducted by a very skilled and experienced medical doctor. Your ultrasound is performed by qualified and trained sonographers. Our chief physician is also a registered vascular technologist (RVT) and a registered phlebology sonographer (RPhS), which gives you the added assurance of optimal diagnosis and treatment plans. Our records are properly maintained for quality assurance and authentication. Treatments Laser or radiofrequency ablation These treatments use laser or radio waves to shrink and seal the wall of an enlarged vein, rerouting blood flow to healthy veins. Ablation improves the appearance and function of your veins and helps with symptoms. Laser and radiofrequency ablation can be used in combination with sclerotherapy, which uses an injectable solution to remove problem veins. Clarivein® During this treatment, we insert a thin, flexible wire into the varicose vein using ultrasound guidance. The catheter rotates, causing the vein to spasm. A special solution seals off the varicose vein, causing it to be gradually absorbed by the body. Varithena® We use a small needle to inject a microfoam substance that fills and eliminates the affected varicose vein. Blood flow is redirected to nearby veins. Varithena is excellent for treating large or deep varicose veins. VenaSeal™ This technique uses a special medical glue to close the affected vein and redirect blood flow to other veins. The glue is inserted into the vein using a thin catheter. The body gradually absorbs the closed vein and it disappears. Microsurgery Microphlebectomy is a minimally invasive surgery where we use tiny incisions to remove very large varicose veins. We use local anesthesia to numb the area before the surgery. Sclerotherapy This minimally invasive treatment involves injecting a solution into the veins. The solution makes the vein walls swell and stick together, stopping the flow of blood and causing the spider vein to fade. Lifestyle changes Regular exercise and compression stockings can help prevent new diseased veins and help slow down the progression of existing ones from getting worse.
