5 stars for the instructors, front office staff, and classes. 0 stars for the new management. I signed up at their “founding member rate” before they even opened, specifically because I was told it would lock in a discounted rate for life. After being a member since day one, I was recently informed by the new general manager that there was a “corporate error” and they can no longer honor that membership rate. I was told my membership price would be increasing and that there was nothing she could do about it. As someone who has supported this studio from the very beginning, I expected there to be some understanding or effort to find a solution rather than being quickly brushed off and told there was nothing they could do. I completely understand that mistakes happen, but it’s disappointing that the burden of a “corporate error” is being placed on the customer, especially as someone who signed up based on the terms offered at the time. I absolutely love the instructors and classes, which makes this experience with the new management even more disappointing.

Im enjoying the variety of classes and I appreciate that classes are divided into two difficulty levels. The instructors are very knowledgeable and helpful. I look forward to every class. Thank you for making exercise fun again!

I was happy to see a pilates studio in Indian Land. Shortly after signing up for a Premier Membership, I discovered that the majority of classes I could attend were consistently full, leaving me on waitlists more often than not. You don't find this nasty truth out until you sign up and have access to the schedule. I didn’t sign up to pay upwards of $200 a month to be waitlisted. I signed up with the reasonable expectation that I would actually be able to use the membership I was paying for. What is particularly frustrating is that this is a relatively new studio, yet memberships continue to be actively promoted and sold despite what appears to be inadequate class capacity for the number of members enrolled. If you are encouraging people to commit to your highest-level membership, there should be complete transparency about how difficult it may be to actually get into classes. Had I known the reality of class availability, I would never have joined. The entire experience has left me feeling misled and, frankly, somewhat duped. It feels wrong to continue aggressively selling memberships when there isn’t sufficient capacity for members to reasonably use what they’ve purchased. This has overtones of fraud all over it. The instructors and classes I experienced were great. Unfortunately, the membership experience was an expensive and deeply disappointing venture. I hope management takes a serious look at membership enrollment, class capacity, and transparency with prospective clients.

I joined Club Pilates Indian Land when they opened in January not knowing if it would be a right choice for me. I’ve now completed 100 classes. I’ve yet to have a bad session. Every instructor is wonderful and I always learn something new. The classes are versatile and at different levels so there’s something for everyone. I look forward to continuing my Pilates journey at this club.

I have been doing yoga for years and decided to try something a bit different. Club Pilates is fantastic! From the people working out front to the instructors, you won’t find a better, more helpful group of people. The workouts themselves are great and has helped me in ways that I wouldn’t have expected. Playing softball and pickleball, even with doing yoga daily I was in pain quite a bit after practices and games from hamstrings, quads etc…. Regular Pilates has completely reversed that and now I feel stronger and more importantly have not been getting injured playing. I highly recommend the new Indian Land Club Pilates (plus it’s pretty fun too). - Michael
